Episode 13 recap: Min Ying wishes to go back ten years.
Shan Yu looked at Min Ying, who was wearing a wedding dress, and pleaded for her to follow him. As long as Min Ying nodded, he promised to take her away regardless of everything. However, Min Ying shook her head, as if it was already too late. Ten years later, Shan Yu wrote a few words on the wall, which caught his attention once again. He gave a gift to his future self, two candles.
Min Ying hurriedly came to find Shan Yu, thinking that he had died. But when she saw Shan Yu safe and sound, tears couldn't help but stream down her face. In her mind, there were some scenes about Shan Yu, such as their farewell at the oceanarium. Shan Yu tried to convince Min Ying that her memories were confused, worried that leaving during her wedding wouldn't be conducive to happiness. However, Min Ying shed tears and turned to leave, but Shan Yu held onto her. Shan Yu proposed that as long as Min Ying said a word, he could take her to wherever she wanted to go. With tears streaming down her face, Min Ying told Shan Yu that it was too late for everything. If she could go back ten years, she would definitely make a different choice. She hoped time could turn back, and if she could go back ten years, she would tell her past self to face things bravely and not avoid dealing with them.
After Min Ying left, Shan Yu absentmindedly flipped through their photo album. Suddenly, he saw a line of words left by his past self on the guitar, which was a gift sent to him across time. It included the camera and the candles. Shan Yu excitedly embraced the candles in his arms. Zheng Zhe had been waiting for Min Ying to return. When he saw Min Ying return and tightly hold her hand, he promised to be good to Min Ying and her grandmother for a lifetime. Min Ying nodded in agreement, and the two of them resumed the wedding. However, the wedding was interrupted once again when Shan Yu suddenly burst in and grabbed Min Ying's hand.
