Episode 14 recap: Shan Yu and Min Ying left the wedding scene.
Min Ying told Shan Yu that if they had a chance to go back ten years, they must convince their past selves to turn themselves in. The torment in their hearts over these years has been too painful. Yin Xun called Shan Yu to warn him not to use candles anymore because candles are devils. Each time a candle is lit, it burns their own lifespan, shortening their lives. However, Shan Yu no longer cared about that. Lighting a candle was the only way he could save Min Ying.
Shan Yu asked Min Ying to follow him and go back to the past, where they could start over. They ran away together. Zheng Zhe wanted to rush over and stop them, but Yin Xun held him tightly. Later, Shan Yu brought Min Ying to the seaside. Min Ying recalled the time when she tried to commit suicide by jumping into the sea, but now she stood here well.
