Episode 19 recap: Shan Yu and Min Ying got married.
After watching the video, Shan Yu cried uncontrollably, feeling extremely heartbroken. He realized that Min Ying had done so much for him, so he hurriedly went to the hospital to find her. He tightly embraced Min Ying, but she pushed him away again, admitting that she was a murderer. Shan Yu showed her the video as evidence and accused Zheng Zhe of deceiving Min Ying. In reality, the true murderer was Zheng Zhe. Overwhelmed by the footage on the camera, Min Ying became emotional and tearful. The two lovers embraced each other tightly.
Shan Yu was afraid that Zheng Zhe might do something terrible, so he suggested that Min Ying report the case and bring Zheng Zhe to justice. Shan Yu also promised to take care of his grandmother because she was his only living relative, and he had no regrets about losing everything he once had. Ten years later, Shan Yu and Min Ying got married, and everyone attended their wedding. Yin Xun was moved to tears and sincerely wished Shan Yu and Min Ying a happy life together after going through so much.
Min Ying couldn't believe that all of this was real. Tears sparkled in her excited eyes. Zhu Xiao'en was busy taking photos for the couple and praised the bride as the most beautiful one she had ever seen. When Zheng Zhe was caught by the police, he continued to boast, claiming to be a young scientist. However, images flashed through his mind—images of him being abused by his adoptive father, his own wretched appearance.
In a frenzy, he hastily grabbed a knife and dashed out of the house. Min Ying and the others waited for Xinlang Shan Yu to arrive, but he never called and they couldn't reach him. Ten years later, as Shan Yu watched the countdown timer ticking away, the candles extinguished, but he didn't return.
