Episode 6 recap: Min Ying suffers from depression.
Shan Yu found Yin Xun and analyzed the current situation. Yin Xun learned that Min Ying was suffering from depression, and the real problem started when they went to see the meteor shower together. After leaving the campsite, Min Ying changed unusually, and later intentionally broke up with Yin Xun and disappeared for ten years. The meteor shower ten years ago was on the day Min Ying celebrated Shan Yu's birthday. Min Ying suggested watching the sunrise together early the next day, and Shan Yu happily set the alarm for 4:30 a.m. to go together. Min Ying also prepared a gift to give to Shan Yu the next morning, hoping that Shan Yu would like it.
At this moment, ten years later, Shan Yu comes to find the Shan Yu from ten years ago and reminds him that if he doesn't want to lose Min Ying, he must stop her. He will come to find Shan Yu at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, and he will reveal the truth. Although Shan Yu doesn't know why, he obediently stops Min Ying, who was about to leave. Shan Yu keeps Min Ying, while the Shan Yu from ten years later arrives at the place Min Ying was supposed to go to, wanting to see who actually made an appointment with her. However, before he could see who it was, he returned to ten years later because the time was up.
On the other hand, Min Ying realizes that Shan Yu deliberately wants to stop her and simply locks him in the tent. She then leaves with Zheng Zhe. The anxious Shan Yu from ten years later uses a lit candle to return to ten years ago, only to discover that Min Ying believes she has killed someone. Zheng Zhe grabs Min Ying's hand, and they flee the woods together.
