Episode 18 recap: Gu Lin Xing got injured while saving Chen Xuan.
Gu Lin Xing was performing at a bar when a girl in the audience expressed her joy at finally meeting him. When Gu Lin Xing was about to leave, she immediately asked why he was here. Gu Lin Xing noticed it was Liu Jiao Jiao and questioned why a wealthy young lady like her would come to a place like this. Liu Jiao Jiao revealed that she currently works as a producer at a record company and intends to sign him. However, Cha Cha, who was also present, did not respond to her.
Liu Jiao Jiao called Gu Lin Xing's father and informed him about the encounter with Gu Lin Xing earlier that day. Gu Lin Xing's father described him as a stubborn person and requested Liu Jiao Jiao not to mention that he allowed her to meet Gu Lin Xing. Later that evening, Gu Lin Xing saw a group of people harassing Chen Xuan on his way home. He stood up for her and drove them away. Upon seeing Gu Lin Xing injured, Liu Jiao Jiao expressed her desire for him to go to the hospital, as he is a musician and what would happen if he became disabled.
At the hospital, the doctor diagnosed Gu Lin Xing with a sprained ligament and advised him to avoid using his hand as much as possible in the future. Liu Jiao Jiao mentioned that Gu Lin Xing got injured while protecting Chen Si Nan's sister and felt that she should express her gratitude properly. Gu Lin Xing asked how she knew about all this, and Liu Jiao Jiao explained that she had conducted background research. However, Gu Lin Xing ignored her and left without saying a word.
Liu Jiao Jiao made a firm decision to sign him. Unable to find Gu Lin Xing, Chen Si Nan called him but received no response. In order to find Cha Cha, she had no choice but to go to him. Liu Jiao Jiao revealed that the reason he didn't mention going out of town for a performance was because he went to save Chen Si Nan's sister. When Chen Si Nan asked for details, Dong Dong finally revealed that he was recovering from his injuries at a villa in the outskirts. Upon hearing this, Chen Si Nan immediately rushed out.
