Episode 19 recap: Chen Sinan stood up for Gu Lin Xing.
When Gu Lin Xing saw Chen Sinan's call, he immediately claimed to be too busy to notice it. Chen Sinan reached out and asked how he was doing. Gu Lin Xing assured her that it was okay and comforted her not to worry, even though wrinkles appeared on his face. Chen Xuan came to Chen Sinan and admitted it was his fault. If he hadn't been so willful, Gu Lin Xing wouldn't be in the current situation. Chen Sinan said it was okay and that Gu Lin Xing never blamed her.
Chen Sinan asked who the person was that harassed her that day. After Chen Xuan showed a photo, they realized it was Gu Xici's subordinate. Gu's father confronted Gu Xici, expressing his trust in him and questioning why he would do such things and use millions of the company's funds. Gu Xici said he had nothing to say. Gu Lin Xing refused, which made Jiao Jiao angry, wondering what she had done to bewitch him.
Miss Ruan found Gu's father, who only had his son in his eyes and completely ignored the fact that he had another daughter. Chen Sinan found Gu Lin Xing and told him that he had gone too far. If he continued to hurt Gu Lin Xing, she would take her evidence to court.
