Episode 9 recap: Chen Sinan brought Gu Lin Xing to participate in the orchestra competition.
When Chen Sinan and Gu Lin Xing returned home, they saw a crowd blocking the entrance. Chen Sinan mentioned that if his father knew they were here, he would have already entered. Being outside the door only indicates suspicion. When they arrived at the house purchased by Gu's mother, it was already cleaned. Gu Lin Xing asked if she was hungry and offered to cook for her. After taking a bite of his food, she immediately exclaimed that it was delicious.
The next morning, Chen Sinan left early, stating that they shouldn't contact each other for a few days, as those people would surely find her. When Chen Sinan returned home, Xi Ci asked where she had been yesterday, but Chen Sinan ignored the question. Xi Ci mentioned that she had visited their house, and her mother still didn't know about their situation, which meant there might still be hope for her. Chen Sinan expressed that he was truly beyond redemption.
Chen Sinan received a call from her teacher asking her to bring the orchestra to participate in a competition, and she immediately agreed. She was surprised to see Gu Lin Xing there and quickly told him to get off the car. However, Gu Lin Xing didn't want to get off. Chen Sinan reluctantly had to bring him along to the competition. Chen Sinan mentioned that it was risky for him to come here with her, as he could easily be discovered by her father's people. Gu Lin Xing acknowledged this and took her surgery room card with him.
Gu Lin Xing and Chen Sinan ended up sleeping in the same room. When Chen Sinan turned around, she accidentally bumped into Gu Lin Xing. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly got up and explained that it was unintentional.
