Episode 12 recap: The identity of the Linglong Tower has been exposed.
Upon seeing Pang Zong Guan bringing people in, the Mole Strategist asked him if he intended to rebel. Pang Zong Guan pointed at the Pink Wind Imp and said that he was the true king. Seeing that the Mole Strategist was still oblivious, Pang Zong Guan ordered them to be captured. Realizing the situation was unfavorable, the Mole Strategist hurriedly brought the Linglong Tower to a pre-dug hole. Just as he moved the stones covering the entrance, Pang Zong Guan and his men surrounded them. Fortunately, the Linglong Tower used its fencing technique to temporarily hold them off.
The Mole Strategist led the Linglong Tower into the hole, closely pursued by Pang Zong Guan and his men. After a difficult escape, the two finally shook off their pursuers. Pang Zong Guan then utilized his expertise and dug a tunnel to inform Director Hu and others about the rebellion. After the rebels were defeated, Pang Zong Guan and the Pink Wind Imp were captured alive. The Mole Strategist asked the Linglong Tower how to deal with them. The Linglong Tower waved its hand and told him to drive them away. Seeing the Mole Strategist looking at him in confusion, the Linglong Tower changed its statement and said to let him decide their fate.
The Linglong Tower also asked the Mole Strategist a question about the secret passage he used to escape. The Mole Strategist didn't hide anything and explained the details of his plan to capture Tang Seng and his disciples. Seeing the Mole Strategist talking with relish, as if Tang Seng's flesh was within reach, the Linglong Tower had a different idea. He seemed to envision the Mole Strategist, Director Hu, Tu Ye, and others meeting a tragic end. Unable to help himself, he sighed and asked the Mole Strategist, "Why do you insist on eating Tang Seng's flesh? Isn't it better to live a good life?"
While they were talking, Da Ji rushed over and informed the Mole Strategist that the mole had already been caught. It turned out that when the Mole Strategist informed Tu Ye and others about the rebellion, he also secretly instructed Da Ji to capture the mole. Fanta Yin was tied to a chair, and the Linglong Tower wanted to defend her, but Da Ji had already found a letter of appointment on her, along with other evidence.

Realizing that the situation was exposed, the Linglong Tower no longer concealed anything. The Mole Strategist asked if he had any last words, and the Linglong Tower took out a pair of unfinished glasses from his pocket. It was a pair specifically made for the Mole Strategist, and his last words were not to despise them. The Mole Strategist was moved by the Linglong Tower's kindness and was caught in a dilemma. Just then, Da Ji ran in to report that when Fanta Yin escaped, she set fire to the stronghold.
Seeing the stronghold reduced to ashes, the Linglong Tower asked the Mole Strategist what to do. But the Mole Strategist reminded him that he was no longer the true king.
