Episode 20 recap: Ni Tian Bao had a conflict with a classmate.
Ni Tian Bao was very proud and claimed that the pen he had was brought by his father from abroad. Mr. Ni came to the school to meet the teacher and mentioned that the classmate often asked Ni Tian Bao for things. When the classmate's backpack fell to the ground, other students discovered that it contained Ni Tian Bao's pen.
Ma Le and the psychologist from the Comprehensive Management Center came to the school to promote awareness against campus bullying. Mr. Ni came to the school to meet the teacher and expressed that Jiang Chuan Lai often asked Ni Tian Bao for things. Initially, Mr. Ni didn't intend to bring up this matter, but it was not a trivial issue, and he couldn't let his child continue to be bullied.
When the classmate saw the pen Ni Tian Bao was using, they thought it must be expensive. Ni Tian Bao was very proud and mentioned that his father had brought it for him from abroad. Ma Le and others happened to be present, so the teacher brought Jiang Chuan Lai and Ni Tian Bao together to inquire about the situation.
Jiang Chuan Lai was unwilling to say much and only denied doing those things. His attitude was also unpleasant, and the teacher warned him to be mindful of his behavior. Jiang Chuan Lai insisted that he didn't do anything wrong, but his father didn't believe him at all. He mentioned that the teacher had already called their home and even took out a belt, intending to punish Jiang Chuan Lai.
Ma Le happened to arrive and quickly intervened, stating that according to the law protecting minors, Jiang Chuan Lai's father would be committing a crime if he resorted to domestic violence.
During the flag-raising ceremony, it was originally Jiang Chuan Lai who was supposed to speak, but due to the incident, Ni Tian Bao took the opportunity to speak instead, and he was very proud of it.
Because Jiang Chuan Lai had a bad attitude during the flag-raising ceremony, Mr. Ni felt that they had initially wanted to downplay the situation, but now that it had escalated, it was best to involve the police. The school issued a notice where a girl crossed out Jiang Chuan Lai's name.

Ma Le asked Ni Tian Bao if Jiang Chuan Lai had extorted other classmates, and Ni Tian Bao said it was possible, but he didn't know for sure. Ma Le came back and told Xiao Li Ming about the incident, expressing the difficulty of getting Jiang Chuan Lai to apologize for anything.
Xiao Li Ming believed that Ma Le might be biased towards Ni Tian Bao because of Jiang Chuan Lai's initial bad attitude. Xiao Li Ming thought that Jiang Chuan Lai was being blamed for the incident and that it might be because his father was a former inmate, causing people to be unwilling to listen to him and explain.
Xiao Li Ming emphasized that campus bullying was a serious matter, and both parties should be given support and understanding. They needed to thoroughly investigate the situation. Ma Le agreed with Xiao Li Ming, as they hadn't seen any fear in Ni Tian Bao's face that would be expected from someone who was being bullied.
When Jiang Chuan Lai returned home to help his father, he was pushed away by him. Jiang Chuan Lai insisted that he had already said he didn't do anything wrong, but no one believed him.
