Episode 7 recap: Li Chang Sheng returned to the clinic.

Ma Chong Feng admitted that he had been too focused on quick success and neglected to consider the consequences. However, he also wanted to keep at least one university student in the village. Li Chang Sheng stated that if he wanted to return to the clinic, Ma Chong Feng needed to apologize to him. Ma Chong Feng immediately apologized, and Li Chang Sheng requested him to apologize on the radio. Subsequently, Ma Chong Feng publicly apologized and reflected in front of the entire village.

Bai Shi Zhou organized and planned the ancestral hall, excitedly introducing it to Li Chang Sheng. To his surprise, Li Chang Sheng was angry and asked where his belongings were placed. Bai Shi Zhou replied that they were inside the courtyard. When Li Chang Sheng saw that his cabinet had been dismantled, he became furious. He expressed that these items were older than himself and had saved many lives. He questioned who gave Ma Chong Feng the audacity to dismantle them completely.

Everyone was saddened to see Li Chang Sheng's belongings being dismantled. Previously, when people offered to buy these cabinets, Li Chang Sheng never sold them. Wang Ya Nan commented that he simply did not understand the significance of these items. Li Chang Sheng replied casually, saying that if he didn't understand, then he could dismantle them freely.

Ma Chong Feng arrived at the ancestral hall and questioned how Bai Shi Zhou could dismantle everything. Bai Shi Zhou stated that he wanted the place to resemble a hospital. Ma Chong Feng assured that the items had mortise-and-tenon structures and promised that he would restore everything to its original state by the next day. He also added that if he couldn't fix these items, he wouldn't continue as the village leader.

Gui Fen bluntly remarked that Li Chang Sheng's behavior was a bit eccentric, and it would be better to be lenient with him. She also praised Bai Shi Zhou, saying that he was a good kid who didn't know any better. She believed that he would not disappoint in the future because, at this moment, he surely recognized his mistake. Wang Ya Nan brought Bai Shi Zhou a homemade incense from Li Chang Sheng, stating that he had purchased the necessary items online to repair the cabinet. Wang Ya Nan expressed that Li Chang Sheng had finally realized his mistake, which was a significant step forward.

At night, while Ma Chong Feng was assembling the cabinet, Da Gezi approached him and suggested that using glue would be the most effective way to fix it. Ma Chong Feng mentioned that he had been doing this online for three generations, and he couldn't fathom why he was now being advised to use glue.

Bai Shi Zhou was impressed when he saw the cabinets Ma Chong Feng brought, stating that he had done an excellent job, making them look as if they had never been dismantled.

Upon seeing the renovated clinic by Bai Shi Zhou, Li Chang Sheng commented that he treated these old things as treasures and even dismantled his own cabinet for them. As the two were about to argue, Ma Chong Feng intervened and welcomed them to work together in the clinic, providing medical care and solving problems for everyone. After assigning them their respective areas, Ma Chong Feng quickly left.

Wang Ya Nan brought cleaning solution to Wu the accountant, suggesting that it could be used to clean the junk from the computer keyboard. Wu the accountant dismissed the idea and left. In the clinic, a villager mentioned that they had a slight fever and wanted some medication. Li Chang Sheng advised that a temperature of 38.5 degrees Celsius didn't require medication, and it would be sufficient to go home and apply a cold compress. The villager then sought medical attention from Bai Shi Zhou, who wanted to conduct an electrocardiogram. However, the villager returned to Li Chang Sheng, ultimately receiving two prescriptions.

Upon learning that Li Chang Sheng and Bai Shi Zhou were ignoring each other, Ma Chong Feng felt frustrated. Da Gezi brought the computer from Wu the accountant's office, stating that it shouldn't go to waste. Wu the accountant expressed that he would gradually learn to use it. In the evening, Bai Shi Zhou approached Wang Ya Nan, expressing gratitude for her contribution of the computer during the day. However, he mentioned that the lack of patients was the biggest problem despite having all the necessary equipment.

Wang Ya Nan acknowledged that after Li Chang Sheng's prolonged presence, everyone would naturally lean towards him. However, she suggested that he could conduct health check-ups for women, as those matters might not be suitable for Li Chang Sheng due to ideological influences. Subsequently, Bai Shi Zhou began visiting villagers' homes for consultations. When encountering a reluctant female homeowner, he emphasized that in medical matters, there was no distinction based on gender and hoped she wouldn't mind. He then proceeded to conduct consultations within the courtyard, explaining that by establishing health records, any doctor, regardless of location, would have access to patients' medical histories, making diagnoses more convenient and secure.
