Episode 19 recap: Cheng Fan became a suspect.
25 years ago, Mu Shaobai was in the hospital when Gu Mulan came with people, claiming to have been shot. Mu Shaobai treated Gu Mulan's injury, and Gu Mulan left some money. Mu Shaobai was initially going to report it to the police but hesitated because of the money. Since then, whenever Gu Mulan was injured, he would come to Mu Shaobai for treatment and give him money each time.
Later, Gu Mulan brought Mu Shaobai over and brought out a large sum of money, saying that if Mu Shaobai called him "big brother," the money would be his. Mu Shaobai brought Cheng Fan to this place, stating that if Cheng Fan wanted to marry his daughter, having a healthy body was crucial, so he asked Cheng Fan to come here for an examination.
