Episode 24 recap: Chu Yi Han completed the mission.
Pei Laosì ordered Chu Yi Han to kill Cheng Fan, indicating that Cheng Fan knew too much. Chu Yi Han had to come over because Pei Laosì had arranged surveillance here. Cheng Fan asked Chu Yi Han to kill him, stating that he knew too much and Pei Laosì would not let him live. Chu Yi Han believed that Cheng Fan could only survive to have more opportunities.
Cheng Fan did not agree. After Chu Yi Han came out, Cheng Fan was already dead, and Da Tang fired another shot. Chu Yi Han followed Pei Laosì outside and thought about what happened with Cheng Fan. Cheng Fan had told Chu Yi Han earlier that he was no longer capable and had a locator inside his body. He had swallowed it while taking medicine, and he asked Chu Yi Han to complete the mission and took out the item from his belly with a knife and gave it to Chu Yi Han.
The route taken by Chu Yi Han and his group was incorrect. They were supposed to find Chu Yi Han's mother, but they were heading towards Tianshan County. Pei Laosì pointed to a distant hillside where Chu Yi Han's mother was. Pei Laosì left in another car, leaving Da Tang and the others to deal with Chu Yi Han.
Chu Yi Han defeated all those people. Gu Lin Na arrived with Duan Qing and informed them that there was an unmarked location on the map about one kilometer ahead, which was their family cemetery. Duan Qing and the others reached the vicinity and saw that Pei Laosì's people had already started transporting something there. Duan Qing called the police chief and was instructed to keep an eye on them and apprehend them all later.
They had set up a checkpoint here, and Pei Laosì and his group were blocked with several trucks of goods. Pei Laosì called the police chief and mentioned that he had previously made a report to him. Now, Lin Ke was still in his hands, and he requested to be allowed to pass. The police chief asked to speak to Lin Ke, so Pei Laosì handed the phone to him and asked Lin Ke to say something to them, suggesting that their suffering would end now.
Lin Ke said something to the police chief. Chu Yi Han also arrived on a motorcycle and asked the police chief if his mother was there and if he could go and say a few words. Gu Lin Na also came out at this point, and Chu Yi Han was determined to come back alive. Chu Yi Han caught up and saw his mother, feeling extremely excited.

Chu Yi Han discovered the gun and reported to the police chief that he and Lin Ke had completed the mission and requested to rejoin the team. Chu Yi Han saw the headscarf left by his mother and felt extremely sad. Gu Lin Na came over to comfort Chu Yi Han.
The police chief and the others interrogated Pei Laosì. Pei Laosì explained how he came to know Lin Ke. When he first saw her in the organization, he immediately liked her. Later, because he kept an eye on her, he noticed that something was off, but he didn't say anything due to a moment of weakness. This became a leverage that Lin Ke used to blackmail him.
Later, Gu Mu Lan discovered that there was a mole within the organization. However, because Lao Qiang had thoughts of betrayal, Lin Ke took the opportunity to shift all the blame onto Lao Qiang. Gu Mu Lan later realized something was wrong, and Pei Laosì staged his own death. However, due to excessive medication, Lin Ke ended up severely paralyzed.
A month later, the police chief and the others gathered to commemorate the sacrifices of Lin Ke, Cheng Fan, and Yu Da Luo. Chu Yi Han felt that through these experiences, he had gained a better understanding of what it takes to be a good police officer. Chu Yi Han was in the hospital when the police chief mentioned that there seemed to be some discrepancies in the quantities of the goods brought from the warehouse.
Gu Lin Na came to visit Chu Yi Han, and Chu Yi Han expressed that they hadn't seen each other for twenty-seven and a half days. (End of the drama)
