Episode 3 recap: Cheng Fan warned Chu Yihan.
Back when Cheng Fan went on a mission, pretending to be a gun buyer, in order to get close to Lao Qiang. Suddenly, someone appeared behind Cheng Fan, pointing a gun at him. This person instructed Cheng Fan to go inside, where Cheng Fan saw Lao Qiang. However, due to Cheng Fan coughing outside just a moment ago, it alerted the person holding the gun, and Lao Qiang, being highly suspicious, didn't give Cheng Fan a chance to explain. Without saying a word, Lao Qiang detonated the bomb, causing Cheng Fan to be blown away.
Gu Linnan and her friend came to visit Cheng Fan, and Cheng Fan mentioned Gu Linnan's surname. On Gu Linnan's ID card, it said "Linna," but Gu Linnan claimed that her surname is Gu Chengfan. She also mentioned Gu Mulan, and Gu Linnan's friend said that there are many people with the surname Gu in their hometown, but Gu Chengfan is the only famous one. They even composed a song to mock him.
Gu Linnan expressed her intention to promote the culture of the Northwestern Wolves, as she was saved by a wolf when she was bitten by a hyena in her childhood. Cheng Fan said that his partially disabled body doesn't need such good tonic products, and he asked them to take the things they brought back. Gu Linnan showed him her foot, saying that it was bitten by a hyena and can't be healed, but the more incomplete one is, the more perfect it should be. That's why she wants to dance at her best, even with her injury, because having an injury doesn't mean she can't dance well.
Gu Linnan advised Cheng Fan to take care of his own body too. She mentioned that her uncle also has a weak heart and has an excellent cardiologist who practices in their city, Kalisha. She even showed them a business card. Dr. Mu happened to enter at that moment and recognized the card as his father's. Cheng Fan made a call to investigate Gu Linnan, and it turned out that there are no issues with her parents.
Chu Yihan came to find Cheng Fan and asked if it was Cheng Fan who didn't allow him to join. Cheng Fan told him about the incident during his previous mission, explaining that Lao Qiang is extremely suspicious. Just because Cheng Fan coughed, Lao Qiang disposed of him without giving Cheng Fan a chance to see what he looked like. Cheng Fan didn't believe that Chu Yihan could do such a thing.
H is studying Long Qi's behavior here and also watched a previous video of Long Qi. In the past, Long Qi accepted a mission to kill a 17-year-old girl but later realized that he had killed the wrong person, yet still went ahead and killed that person.
Gu Linnan's brother-in-law was helping his wife choose a piano in the music room and happened to see the staff here manipulating a computer with software that can simulate other people's voices. Gu Linnan's brother-in-law wanted to buy that computer. When Gu Linnan and her friend came out, they encountered a gang of car thieves. The two of them ran into an underground garage and were blocked by the gang. The leader claimed that his younger brother took a photo of her, but she refused to cooperate and demanded to settle the matter privately by signing a document. In response, he let her go.
Chu Yihan and Yu Da Luo happened to see this. Yu Da Luo suggested that if Chu Yihan wants to impersonate Long Qi, it would be best for him to stay low-profile and let others handle it. However, Chu Yihan still came to rescue Gu Linnan. Gu Linnan asked her friend to find security while she went back to assist. Chu Yihan returned to find Director Tai and expressed his intention to resign. He was not allowed to take on the mission but he insisted on investigating.
Director Tai showed Chu Yihan his mother Lin Ke's file, mentioning that it shouldn't have been shown to him, but he hoped that Chu Yihan would believe that they still remember Lin Ke, appreciate her contributions, and haven't forgotten about her. No matter what others say, they still believe in Lin Ke. Chu Yihan couldn't help but burst into tears. Cheng Fan called Duan Qing and said that he was about to undergo surgery and didn't know if he would come back. He hoped that if anything happened to him, Duan Qing would take good care of Chu Yihan. This is not just their senior's child but also their own child.
