Episode 18 recap: Qin Zhixing knows that someone is impersonating him and damaging his image.
Qin Zhixing dislikes Shang Tianjing always appearing in front of him. So, he decides to promote Shang Tianjing and transfer her to the overseas headquarters. However, Shang Tianjing is not satisfied with just the promotion. She also wants to win Qin Zhixing's affection. While enjoying the admiration of ordinary employees, she plans to make Qin Zhixing her boyfriend. Qin Zhixing gathers his courage and asks Lanxi to come to his office. He gives her a box of iced fruits, but Lanxi refuses to accept it and walks away without a word.
Qin Zhixing faces continuous setbacks, so he turns to Dongdong for advice. Dongdong initially advises Qin Zhixing to give up, but Qin Zhixing is deeply infatuated with Lanxi and can't let go. He decides to change his dressing style, but unexpectedly, Lanxi mistakes him for Qin Zhao. Qin Zhixing immediately orders an investigation into Qin Zhao and learns about a bar where Qin Zhao sings. He goes there to gather information and coincidentally meets Qin Zi Yue. Qin Zi Yue mistakes Qin Zhixing for Qin Zhao and reveals that Qin Zhao plans to propose to Lanxi tonight. Qin Zi Yue also mentions reasons why Lanxi dislikes Qin Zhixing, such as their unpleasant first blind date and Qin Zhixing secretly meeting another woman from the company without informing Lanxi, which she happened to witness.
Qin Zhixing realizes that he has never done any of these things and suspects that it's the doing of his twin brother. He decides to wait in the bar to confront the impersonator face to face.
