Episode 22 recap: Lanxi and Qin Zhixing are together.
Qin Zhixing hasn't been to the company for the past few days. After completing the project contract, Lanxi couldn't help but take a glance at Qin Zhixing's empty seat, which was noticed by the observant Xiaobai. Xiaobai immediately reported to Lanxi that Qin Zhixing hasn't been coming to the company recently, which left Lanxi feeling somewhat disappointed. On that day, Qin Zi Yue came back with a package, claiming it was a parcel for Lanxi. However, Lanxi hasn't been buying anything recently, so she was puzzled. Upon opening it, she discovered that it contained all the luxury items she had sold during her impoverished days. Upon further reflection, she realized that this was a return gift from Qin Zhixing, who had sold them on her behalf.
Lanxi didn't want to miss Qin Zhixing anymore and immediately wanted to find him. However, Qin Zi Yue tried to dissuade Lanxi, advising her to be more reserved because only hard-earned feelings are cherished. Lanxi thought that Qin Zi Yue made some sense, so she suppressed her desire to see Qin Zhixing and, at Qin Zi Yue's request, went with her to the art exhibition.
As soon as Lanxi and Qin Zi Yue arrived at the art exhibition, Qin Zi Yue made an excuse to go to the restroom, leaving Lanxi alone to enter the exhibition. She saw paintings hanging on the wall, depicting moments of her and Qin Zhixing together. There was a photo of them in high school, with Qin Zhixing secretly standing behind her, as well as a depiction of her angrily taking back a tie and the scene of Qin Zhixing confessing his feelings to her at the bar. Each painting stirred emotions in Lanxi, and tears welled up in her eyes. She saw the hopeful gaze in Qin Zhixing's eyes and accepted the kiss he offered. Finally, the two of them were together.
