Episode 4 recap: Shang Tianjing showed great attention to Qin Zhixing.
Without causing any trouble for Lanxi, Shang Tianjing assigned the protein powder project to Lanxi, claiming that Lanxi had many ideas that could be implemented. After the meeting, she arranged for Lanxi to tidy up the conference room. Lanxi felt somewhat unhappy about having done so much work in a single day, but she resigned herself to the task. Shang Tianjing had a special interest in the newly arrived Qin Zhixing and sent Xiao Bai to gather information.
Knowing Shang Tianjing's intentions, Xiao Bai informed her that Qin Zhixing was single. Delighted by the news, Shang Tianjing quickly brewed a cup of coffee and approached Qin Zhixing with great enthusiasm. She passionately reported her work to Qin Zhixing, which made him somewhat displeased. Nonetheless, he reluctantly picked up the coffee brought by Shang Tianjing and took a sip. He concluded that Shang Tianjing had been fooled into buying the coffee, which infuriated her and almost blew her cover.
Having failed with Qin Zhixing, Shang Tianjing turned her attention to Lanxi. Without carefully reviewing Lanxi's proposal, she asked Lanxi to make changes and demanded three different versions, claiming that the accumulation of quantity could lead to a qualitative change. Lanxi felt that Shang Tianjing was simply making things difficult for her and argued on the spot. However, when one is under someone else's roof, they have no choice but to yield. Reluctantly, Lanxi embarked on a street survey, putting in tremendous effort to complete the investigation. However, her legs were in such pain that her eyebrows furrowed.
Qin Zhixing's younger brother finally returned after two years abroad, but unfortunately, he was still as immature as ever. This greatly displeased their father, Qin Fu.
