Episode 9 recap: Chu Man falls into a trap.
Just as the jewelry design project is about to begin, Chu Man drives to the location with his girlfriend. As they get out of the car, Chu Man continues to express his disdain for Zhang Xiu, saying he is not a good person. Soon, Zhang Xiu himself arrives at the scene and warmly greets Jiang Min Min. Inside, two people nearby are engaged in an argument. Unexpectedly, Jiang Min Min spots Zhou Lin, who had previously plagiarized her work, and confronts her angrily. Seeing someone about to harm his girlfriend, Chu Man intervenes directly and stops them.
Upon leaving, Chu Man is surprised to find that Zhang Xiu has sided with Zhou Lin. It turns out the two of them had conspired together to plot against Chu Man and Jiang Min Min. Finding it difficult to deal with both of them, Zhou Lin decides to target Chu Man, the mysterious person. After they come out, Zhang Xiu even plans to give the ring he designed to someone in front of them. Seeing through his false act of kindness, Chu Man throws the ring away and personally presents a gift. This sparks a discussion among everyone. Jiang Min Min tries to persuade her boyfriend not to act like a child anymore. After a heated argument, Zhang Xiu follows Jiang Min Min and they leave together, leaving Chu Man alone.
