Song Yang finally located the place where Huang Xiaotao was being held captive. Eager to rescue her, Song Yang unintentionally triggered Agui's explosive mechanism and was immediately blown away. As he crashed heavily onto the ground, Huang Xiaotao, who was suspended in mid-air, shouted out in concern. Agui approached Song Yang and squatted down, revealing that they had encountered each other before.
Looking at Agui, Song Yang recalled an incident fifteen years ago when he was adopted by Wang Dali from the orphanage, coincidentally at the same time Agui was taken away by the circus director. However, Song Yang believed that Agui ended up with bad people, while he himself followed Wang Dali, who may not have been wealthy but was a good person. Taking advantage of the chaos, Agui managed to escape, and Song Yang pursued him without hesitation. Agui returned to his hideout, where he struggled to bandage his wounds. Overwhelmed by pain, he eventually lost consciousness, and the photo of Song Xiaoyu slipped from his hand and fell to the ground. Song Yang caught up and searched the room but couldn't find Agui. He then reached the rooftop, where Agui launched a surprise attack from behind. The two engaged in a fierce fight on the rooftop.
Agui accidentally slipped and fell. Song Yang quickly reached out to grab him, but Agui broke free from his grip and fell directly to the ground. Before jumping off the building, Agui told Song Yang that the one who killed his grandfather was the Knife God! Exhausted, Song Yang was nearly dragged down by Agui, but fortunately, Song Xingchen arrived just in time and pulled him back.
Song Yang collapsed and lost consciousness on the ground, and he was promptly taken to the hospital. Sun Hu stayed by Song Yang's bedside and finally felt relieved when he saw him gradually waking up. The fact that Song Yang attacked the police and seized a police car would normally lead to severe consequences, but Sun Hu, considering that he had saved lives, specially applied for leniency on his behalf. Wang Dali came to visit Song Yang and prepared chicken soup for him, but the taste was hard to swallow, so Wang Dali went to buy a new one for him.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Song Yang left the hospital and went alone to visit his grandfather's grave. Worried, Song Xingchen followed shortly after. Song Yang shared the information about the Knife God with him, and Song Xingchen advised him to be cautious because things were not as simple as he imagined. Wang Dali also arrived, and Song Yang smiled, reassuring him. Then, the uncle and nephew went home together.

You must read the novel to understand the content of this drama! The original work is quite amazing, especially the plot where he confronts the Jiangbei Slashing Blade organization, which is even more captivating. The adaptation seems to have deviated a bit.
His classmate turned into a chubby uncle, and Song Xingchen loves drinking coffee. Also, these 12 episodes lack a proper beginning and ending. They only adapted a portion of the novel's storyline. If you haven't read the novel, watching this drama might leave you feeling confused and bewildered.
