I haven't read the original work, but I've watched the first three episodes. From a purely dramatic perspective, what a mess?? The methods used in the crime, the reasoning process, it's all absent. What's the point of making a suspense drama if you're going to neglect these aspects? How did the sound of the piano come out in the first case? Who ultimately killed Nawa? Was it Sakun or Minmin? Nothing was clearly explained... And then there's the protagonist solving cases. Instead of relying on brilliant deductive abilities, they rely on superpowers like clairvoyance and super hearing, right?

It feels like a compilation of tacky and clichéd elements, reminiscent of "Detective Dee." Peng Yusi has consistently portrayed characters in web dramas of such quality. I truly admire Mr. Peng for persisting all these years and maintaining the stereotypical image of himself and the low-quality web dramas.

It's indeed a terrible watch. I initially thought that since the director's last name is Peng, most of the works would be horror films. But this drama turned out to be a crime investigation series. Ghost movies may not require logic, but crime dramas certainly do. Not only does it lack logic, but it also lacks common sense. You don't seem to do a single thing that a normal person would do. Thankfully, this drama is only 12 episodes long. Otherwise, you would have suffered such a loss that even your own mother wouldn't recognize you.

I have never seen such a terrible film. The director failed to capture the essence, the actors failed to perform convincingly, and the screenwriter didn't convey the story properly. As an audience member, I couldn't understand it either. The entire drama lacks coherence, with no logical progression. Furthermore, I couldn't see even a hint of the male lead resembling a descendant of a family with a thousand-year legacy of forensic experts.

The male lead, approaching 40, playing a college student... completely unrelated. The resolution of the case is inexplicable, without any reasoning process. The male lead seems to have superpowers, like a police dog. The relationships between characters are unclear, and I couldn't understand the connection between the later introduction of the character "Jiji King" and the male lead. How can people who haven't read the novel make sense of it? It's a completely bizarre drama, unrelated to "Records of Washing Away Grievances." There is no autopsy process, and the entire case is solved solely by the male lead's keen hearing. Definitely avoid watching it - PS: This review is on behalf of frustrated viewers without Douban accounts.

It's so terrible. I've read the entire original novel, and although the original work wasn't exceptionally brilliant, at least it was still tolerable to listen to when bored. I didn't expect the remake to turn out to be such a mediocre drama... How hard is it to launder money? It's not even as good as the neighboring movie "Snake 4: Lost World," which at least had some comedic elements.

I really like the original work and showing support for Dao Men Lao Jiu. The drama is completely different from the original work, so you can treat it as a standalone suspense drama. I highly recommend reading the original work; the cases are great, and Wang Dali is hilariously funny. Those are some memorable lines. I'd give the drama one star, but two stars for the original work and the author.

Acting... adaptation... It fell apart towards the end of the adaptation, and the drama itself didn't turn out well. Only Song Xingchen (heard he's called "King Jiji") can be considered somewhat famous and skilled, but unfortunately, as soon as he appeared, I dropped the drama.
Because of Zhou Xiaou, Liu Guanlin, and one star.

Huang Xiaotao looks pretty. I haven't read the original novel, so I'm not affected by the criticism from online book fans. Personally, I think each case is decent, with good suspense and twists. However, the other plot elements are scattered, with too much to say but not conveyed effectively.
