Episode 8 recap: The murderer in the Zhang Qing case has been apprehended.
After a year, the J murder case in the city village has finally been cracked. The suspect, Sun, was a former college classmate of the deceased, and had previously pursued the deceased during their university days. When Yang Hui saw this news, she was visibly shaken. She took out the manuscript that she had kept in an old box, which also contained a copy of "Black Rain".

However, he was rejected by Zhang Qing, and in his emotional state, he attacked her. He was then expelled from school on the pretext of indecency.
On the day of the incident 18 years later, Sun Bin snuck into Zhang Qing's home, and when she cried for help, in his panic, he used a dog leash to strangle her. When he saw someone at the door, he chased after them to silence them, but was pushed into the water by the person, who turned out to be Tang Xun.
As the case unfolded, it became clear that Tang Xun thought he had killed Sun Bin, so he did not dare to report it. Given that Tang Xun also had cancer, the immense psychological pressure and fear accelerated the deterioration of his condition. Although the case was solved, Shi Luo felt a void in his heart.
