Episode 26 recap: He Jia Ru was furious after Lv Jing successfully signed the contract.
Ye Yi Fan was surprised to learn that Song Xiao also knew Fang Wen Bin. Ye Yi Fan speculated that Song Xiao might gather them for a meal. Naturally, Ye Yi Fan disliked Fang Wen Bin because he knew that Fang Wen Bin had feelings for He Jia Ru in the past.At that moment, Hou Yuan Yuan called Ye Yi Fan to ask if he was with Chen Li. Ye Yi Fan decided to lie directly. He Jia Ru quickly recorded Ye Yi Fan's true colors. Ye Yi Fan immediately called Chen Li and learned that Feng Dan had been hospitalized due to a suicide attempt. Ye Yi Fan instructed Chen Li to inform Han Jin Jin, but he was concerned that Han Jin Jin might be violent towards Feng Dan, so he decided not to inform her. Ye Yi Fan also asked Chen Li to help him keep it a secret from Hou Yuan Yuan.
The next morning, just as Chen Li was about to go to the hospital to visit Feng Dan, she coincidentally saw Feng Dan stumbling out of the hospital entrance. Feng Dan didn't want to receive treatment, but with Chen Li's support, she reluctantly returned to the hospital. He Jia Ru went to see the director to request an early start of filming, as being the first to start filming would give them an advantage. The director felt that it was rushed, but understood that bringing Ling Dao over would be the best option for them.
Initially, He Jia Ru was worried that Ling Dao would collaborate with Lv Jing, but she found out that Ling Dao had not signed a contract. Just then, Ling Dao arrived, and He Jia Ru naturally felt very happy. Lv Jing was packing her things to go on a business trip while keeping an eye on her daughter and emphasizing that her studies should not be neglected during her absence.
Lv Jing also learned about Ling Dao signing a contract with He Jia Ru. Later, the two of them arrived at the company together. Lv Jing criticized He Jia Ru in front of everyone, scolding her. This time, He Jia Ru didn't show any weakness and refused to let Lv Jing make a scene. He Jia Ru even stated that the idea was her own, but Lv Jing took it away.
Lv Jing even accused He Jia Ru of using unfair means to obtain her current position. He Jia Ru recorded all of Lv Jing's slanderous words. General Manager Wu hurriedly returned and took both of them to his office. He Jia Ru believed that she didn't snatch any resources, especially since Ling Dao hadn't confirmed working with Lv Jing.
Lv Jing was furious and berated He Jia Ru. This time, He Jia Ru's lack of weakness made General Manager Wu take notice.
Chen Li stayed at a guesthouse with Feng Dan. Ye Yi Fan was busy and didn't go to work until late. Later, he found out that Chen Li didn't go to work either.
After bringing Feng Dan back to the guesthouse, Chen Li still believed that Feng Dan shouldn't have attempted suicide. Just then, there was a knock on the door. It was Chen Li who had bought clean clothes for Feng Dan. Chen Li had to rush back to the office for a meeting, so she left first.
As Chen Li was about to take the elevator downstairs, she realized that she had forgotten to take her coat and hurriedly went back to get it. It was at that moment that she discovered Feng Dan attempting suicide again. Chen Li scolded Feng Dan harshly. Because Chen Li was busy with Feng Dan's situation, she was late for the meeting. Fortunately, Ye Yi Fan helped cover for her.
Chen Li re-bandaged Feng Dan's wounds and told the caregiver who had just arrived that they weren't needed for the day. Jia Qi noticed that the kitten at home seemed unwell and was worried. Hou Yuan Yuan still doesn't know that Feng Dan and Chen Li are together.
Later, Hou Yuan Yuan asked Chen Li what she was doing and wanted her to help their daughter with math problems. However, Chen Li said she was in a meeting. She asked Ye Yi Fan to take care of the kitten for her and bring her toiletries. Ye Yi Fan ran into He Jia Ru downstairs and mentioned wanting to find time to be intimate with her, considering they now have adults at home which makes it inconvenient.
Feng Dan told Chen Li that nobody wants her now and she has no chance of getting pregnant. Han Jin Jin also proposed a divorce and wants all her assets transferred to him. Chen Li initially asked Feng Dan about the person she had an affair with, and Feng Dan realized that it was herself.
Feng Dan is now emotionally devastated and feels alone. Her mother has Alzheimer's, and in the years of her marriage to Han Jin Jin, she has lost all her friends.
