Episode 29 recap: Han Jin Jin caused a disturbance at Feng Dan's residence.
Ding Bowen went to find Ye Yi Fan and was prepared to disclose an insider story about purchasing a house to him. It turns out that a middle school is going to be built next to their current house, and as long as they are included in the district, there won't be any issues with their children attending school. Ding Bowen even bought a house in the neighborhood for the sake of providing better conditions for their children's education.
Chen Li is still helping Feng Dan with the divorce agreement, but Ye Yi Fan feels that Chen Li is interfering too much. Ye Yi Fan even warns him not to get involved. However, Chen Li believes that he has already been treated as a third party and thinks it's better to help Feng Dan handle things properly, giving her hope for a new life.
After finishing his tasks, Ding Bowen video-called Jiang Xiao Shan and informed her that he had already bought a house in the He Jia Ru community. This way, their children can study nearby. Song Xiao called He Jia Ru to inquire about the recent progress of the project. He Jia Ru mentioned that things were going well. Song Xiao mentioned that he had a big gift for He Jia Ru. Just after hanging up, Ye Yi Fan called. He is still concerned about He Jia Ru and advises her to drink less alcohol.
He Jia Ru mentions that being a producer, socializing is inevitable. Hou Yuan Yuan starts investigating the places Chen Li has been visiting lately, even narrowing down the options, and finally confirms that Chen Li is staying at a guesthouse with Feng Dan. Early in the morning, Jia Qi wakes up and calls for her mother, but she realizes that Hou Yuan Yuan is not at home and is told to have lunch in the cafeteria. In reality, Hou Yuan Yuan secretly returned home.
Chen Li was about to go to work when he received a call from Feng Dan. On the other end of the line, Han Jin Jin's voice could be heard. Coincidentally, Chen Li ran into Ye Yi Fan downstairs at the company and asked him to help request leave from their supervisor. However, as soon as Chen Li arrived at the office, he heard the supervisor looking for him due to a work mistake. Chen Li and Feng Dan quickly wanted to return to the room, but the door was locked. Many people were filming with their phones, and Hou Yuan Yuan happened to arrive and witnessed everything. Chen Li seemed to have noticed Hou Yuan Yuan while speaking and initially wanted to chase after her, but Han Jin Jin stopped him.
Soon, the police arrived, and everyone had their own opinions. The police prepared to take them back for mediation, so Han Jin Jin had no choice but to leave.
On the way back, Hou Yuan Yuan was in a daze. Chen Li accidentally broke his phone during the fight with Han Jin Jin, so he quickly borrowed someone else's phone at the store to call Hou Yuan Yuan, but she didn't answer. Chen Li started feeling uneasy.
Hou Yuan Yuan couldn't shake off the scene of seeing Chen Li with Feng Dan together, and she felt uncomfortable. After Ye Yi Fan finished helping, he messaged Chen Li and asked him not to take any more leaves, as it would be very dangerous.
When Ye Yi Fan returned, he reported to his superiors, managing to get through it. Jiang Xiao Shan and He Jia Ru climbed the mountain for a long time in search of the snake. Everyone was exhausted and out of breath, but He Jia Ru was still determined to find it. When Chen Li returned and didn't listen to the message Ye Yi Fan left for him, his responses to the leader's questions were evasive, making the leader very angry.
To speed up his recovery, Ye Yi Fan's father hired a professional acupuncturist to treat him at home. Jia Qi was complaining to Zhai Gang that her mother wasn't at home, and she had to cook alone. At this moment, her mother returned with a low mood, and Hou Yuan Yuan brought roast duck, making Jia Qi very happy.
