I May Love You ep 23 recap/spoilers

Episode 23 recap: Lu Zhi Xing and Tang Ding Ding confirmed their romantic relationship.

Tang Yu's parents wanted Tang Xin and Tang Yu to set a wedding date soon, so they could prepare in advance. Tang Xin didn't know how to respond and managed to avoid the topic. While their parents were preparing dinner, Tang Ding Ding quietly informed Tang Xin that Tang Yu has developed strong feelings for her. Tang Yu noticed their secretive behavior and couldn't help but ask what they were talking about, but neither of them would say.

Tang Hai Ming, who usually doesn't allow his wife to drink alcohol, took advantage of being at Tang Xin's home and specifically invited Tang Xin to have a drink. When Tang Xin woke up, Tang Yu had already prepared supper for her, the kind she liked the most from Tang Da Wei's restaurant. Tang Yu wanted to propose to Tang Xin but didn't know what kind of ceremony she wanted. So he took out his phone and discussed it with Tang Xin. In reality, Tang Xin was willing to accept as long as the person was Tang Yu. Tang Yu decided to try out all the popular proposal methods of the past six months but was stopped by Tang Xin.

"The Dream I Have for You" had a successful premiere, and Tang Xin received many WeChat messages from screenwriters who wanted to chat with her. Tang Yu thought they were openly trying to poach her and immediately invited her to join the development team with the identity of Time Light Studios. Tang Ding Ding didn't want to delete the footage either and wanted to keep it as a memento. Lu Zhi Xing kissed Tang Ding Ding with excitement, and the two of them confirmed their romantic relationship.

Tang Yu knew that Tang Xin wanted a private proposal ceremony and secretly went to find Lu Zhi Xing, asking him to help record it as a keepsake. Tang Yu wanted to customize a ring for Tang Xin, but after finally settling on a design, he didn't know her ring size. So he took a red thread with him and went to find Tang Xin. They ended up talking a lot and sharing a few kisses, but he couldn't successfully measure her ring size. He only remembered the distance between their fingers when they held hands.

You Huan assured Tang Yu that he wouldn't let anything go wrong with his proposal ceremony and quickly placed the order. After continuous efforts from the cast and crew, "A Dream for You" finally surpassed one billion in box office revenue. Tang Ding Ding found a safe place to meet Lu Zhi Xing, took off her mask, and kissed Lu Zhi Xing to celebrate.
