Episode 14 recap: Hu Ba Yi discovered the Heaven and Earth Disk underwater.
Hu Ba Yi's recent adventures have made Shirley Yang very worried. She couldn't help but complain to Hu Ba Yi. She was concerned about what she would do if he stayed here, just like Ruan Hei. However, Hu Ba Yi assured her that he was fortunate and asked her not to worry. Shirley Yang was speechless and decided to ignore him in frustration.
Fatty noticed their disagreement and approached Hu Ba Yi to mediate. Fatty told Hu Ba Yi that before they came to the Coral Spiral, Shirley Yang had instructed him that if both she and Hu Ba Yi were in danger, he must prioritize saving Hu Ba Yi. Hearing Fatty's words, Hu Ba Yi's eyes welled up with tears, but he didn't want Fatty to see his sadness. He deliberately changed the subject and talked about Fatty's relationship with Duo Ling. Fatty had initially been worried that Duo Ling wouldn't be interested in him, but now he felt uncertain about their future and suggested leaving this cursed place first.

When they arrived, it felt like they entered a whirlpool, spinning incessantly. Fatty managed to grab hold of one of the stone gods and break free from the whirlpool. To his surprise, the area surrounded by the twelve stone gods formed its own space, devoid of any seawater, allowing them to breathe freely. Hu Ba Yi entered that space and found a Heaven and Earth Disk. He carefully examined the stone gods and noticed numerous small holes on each of them.
Upon resurfacing, Hu Ba Yi shared their discovery with Shirley Yang and the others. When they went underwater, Shirley Yang also searched the surroundings and found a small Heaven and Earth Disk. Hu Ba Yi noticed that the small disk also had small holes and formed the shape of the Big Dipper. He attempted to place the pearls into the holes on the small disk and discovered that it triggered a reaction. Consequently, he, Shirley Yang, and Gu Cai returned to the underwater location and placed the pearls on the twelve stone gods. Once the stone gods lit up, they placed the small Heaven and Earth Disk into the large one.
The combination of the two disks produced a password lock that popped out. Hu Ba Yi tried to use the Seven Stars Eight Trigrams to unlock the password lock but struggled to do so even after a long time. Upon hearing Hu Ba Yi's incantations, Gu Cai suddenly started to recite something as well. Hu Ba Yi thought that Gu Cai also understood the Eight Trigrams, but Gu Cai revealed that someone taught him to recite it when he was young, without understanding its meaning. After Gu Cai finished reciting, Hu Ba Yi followed the content he recited and successfully unlocked the password lock.
This drama is really speechless. Hu Ba Yi has gone through so many adventures, but in this one, he didn't do anything. He constantly slowed things down, wasted time, and couldn't even establish proper communication methods underwater.
All it took was a pull of a lever for the spherical submarine to work, but they dragged it out unnecessarily. And why did they let the fish destroy the submarine?
