A police officer suddenly asks a father if he has ever violated his own daughter, without any context or basis... What kind of logic is this? What kind of new filming technique is this? If there were even a slight bit of reasonable clues, such as gossip between neighbors or the father's suspicious behavior towards his daughter, or even the father collecting private and revealing photos of his daughter, then maybe asking such a question would have some basis. But there is nothing! Absolutely nothing to support it!

Disgusting! What a self-righteous and idiotic father Lu Yutong has. He pities his criminal mother, but what about his own daughter? Wasn't she deserving of pity? When he was committing the crime, why didn't he think about his mother? He ruined his daughter's life, and you sympathize with him? You wait until it's too late to offer a sacrifice. What about Xiaoman's future?
That kindergarten teacher may not deserve to die, but she's certainly a peculiar one. You're willing to let the little boy endure beatings on his own, but when the little girl is abused, you tell her parents to keep it to themselves. How can someone like that be a teacher? How can they be a role model? It's sickening to see such fake compassion and fake righteousness.

The first case nearly drove me crazy. Why did those two police officers insist on proving the old man's innocence? How many times do we have to say it: male writers, stay away from sexual assault cases. What exactly are you trying to empathize with? "Not reporting the assault to protect one's reputation" - are you living in a feudal society? If this is what you call fatherly love, then I'd rather see all men wiped off the face of the Earth. Nobody wants that kind of love.

After watching 6 episodes, this is the dark horse drama of the year. This is a detective drama without individual heroism or brainless trouble-making interns. The police officers conducting interviews are no longer fierce and menacing. Ma Si Chao is a phenomenal actor. The drama may not have big explosions, but it's definitely a five-star quality. I have a friend who highly recommends it with five stars.

I'm not sure what values are being conveyed here. An elderly man is forgiven for raping his own daughter because he had to support his mother, and he doesn't allow his daughter to report it. In turn, the daughter, twisted by her inability to report it, kills two women (one of them because she couldn't apologize verbally due to being mute). Later on, there's a spoiled individual who rapes another man's girlfriend, leading her to become pregnant and commit suicide. The boyfriend plans a kidnapping, abducts the innocent girlfriend of the spoiled individual's driver, and inflicts various psychological traumas on her. And in the end, he livestreams torturing the spoiled individual, dragging it out and letting the police find him without being able to punish him. So, it seems that only innocent women suffer in this story. The most crucial part is when the mother of the girl who committed suicide says, "I used to look down on that boyfriend, but now it's good that my daughter has someone. Meanwhile, her father faints and becomes paralyzed." So, it appears that all the harsh words and actions come from women, while men are portrayed as excessively kind-hearted.

Although it's a low-budget web series, each of the five cases is presented in a complete manner with just the right pacing, avoiding excessive dragging and often including multiple plot twists. The tragedy starts with a girl being sexually assaulted, her father not reporting the incident, and it subsequently leading to the killing of two people. A beautiful woman is raped by a wealthy second-generation individual, leading to her suicide. Her boyfriend kidnaps someone in revenge, only to discover that it was instigated by his own mother. A female manager exerts full control over an artist, crafting their image. When the artist decides to leave, she resorts to violence, leaving the girl desperate after being accidentally killed by her own brother. Then there's the academy brainwashing lower-class women with Confucian values, the unscrupulous principal who sexually assaults women using manipulative language, and the brainwashed disciples who are willing to kill. It completely shatters one's worldview. Each case exposes the dark side of humanity, particularly the evil within men driven by money, power, love, lust, and reputation. They are willing to commit murder, arson, robbery, and rape without hesitation. Engaging in a prolonged battle with demons, they ultimately become deeply immersed and find it difficult to attain enlightenment...

It's rare to come across a crime-solving drama that doesn't involve fighting organized crime, drug trafficking, or undercover operations. This one focuses on straightforward murder cases and dares to show detailed shots of the victims, depicting the process of the killings. It deserves recognition for that.
While seeking revenge is understandable, it's important to remember that every wrongdoing has its origins and responsible parties. Resorting to violence doesn't guarantee justice, and it's unfair to harm the innocent grandmother and teacher in the process.
In the end, everyone comes together to sympathize with the rapist, the violent maniac, and the incompetent feudal father. The show strongly condemns moral blackmail against the victims and turns a blind eye to the little girl who suffered violence.
I finished watching the first case, and I'm saying goodbye to this drama! I stumbled upon a video clip of a female celebrity being murdered, and it seems like the male screenwriter of this show has some sort of sexual dysfunction, deriving pleasure only from torturing women.
I was already disgusted by Gao Mingchen in "Just Love," and here he is again. And who is that ugly and talentless actress playing Ding Shaoyi in the virtuous class? Did they have to cast an old scumbag for a supporting role just because the main character is ugly?

The more I watch, the more I can't bear the first case, where the cowardly father prevents his daughter from pursuing justice. And they didn't even confront the other party, claiming sympathy for them? ? Why weren't they sympathetic during the assault?
As for the second case, it's about a wealthy second-generation individual. Can't they come up with any other storyline? It's just one after another about privileged individuals.

It's really enjoyable to watch. Each case is well-crafted, and the acting is great, especially the supporting cast who deliver standout performances. What's more, I still can't guess who the culprit is? ??? I strongly recommend making more crime investigation dramas like this—I love watching them. Why is it always kind-hearted girls who get hurt? The truth in the third case involving the female celebrity is quite sensationalized.

Ma Si Chao, I don't want to be friends with you just because you acted in a TV drama. Your acting is pretty good though.
In this drama, you are truly overacting. Can't you speak your lines naturally? Can't you emote properly?

Regarding the story: For the first case, I even felt that the victims deserved to die. It was their wickedness that ruined Yutong. The second case, seeking revenge for the girlfriend, was executed decently but can be overlooked. The more intriguing ones, in my opinion, were the third case involving the murdered female actress and the fourth case set in the Women's Virtue Academy.

I actually think it's okay. The cases have some twists, but once you've seen enough of these types, you can start guessing the outcomes. One thing to criticize is the clichéd character development of the male lead. This kind of mysterious and cold protagonist, who has suffered and lost love, feels outdated. Moreover, the main storyline is too far-fetched. The initially all-powerful wealthy characters ended up dying too easily, don't you think?

The endings of each case are always somewhat unexpected, but there are small twists that make sense. Each case carries some social significance, but it feels like they haven't been thoroughly explored. Haha, it would be even better if there was a deeper exploration or a sublimation in the end. The plot has some minor flaws, but they don't affect the viewing experience. The special episodes in the last two episodes were very friendly to me.

Dong Ni's lines are a drawback, but the lead actor's acting is decent. Xiao Yi always seems to have a slightly menacing look in his eyes. The acting of the main characters in each story arc is commendable, and the plot has logical progression and a clear conclusion. However, the pacing feels a bit slow with five episodes per story arc. The background music is fantastic. Even before getting into the main storyline, the low volume of the BGM creates a creepy atmosphere. The color grading in the story arcs feels a bit off, but it might be intentional to create a suspenseful atmosphere. The later parts with many flashback scenes become a bit confusing, but there are no wasted characters throughout the series. There are plenty of plot twists, and the director should make more crime investigation dramas! However, the final Easter egg feels unnecessary. I was looking forward to it, but instead of providing a clear explanation, it just turned into a mess.

The first four episodes were pretty good, but the fifth episode made me sick. The daughter gets raped, and they do nothing? They feel sorry for others but not for their own daughter? The male character's mother is already in a pitiful state, yet he still goes on to rape someone, and somehow he's the one to be pitied more than his own daughter? Not reporting it because they're concerned about their daughter's reputation? Give me a break! It's either written by someone from the Qing Dynasty or written by a man. And the police, how can they be so indignant and speak up for her father? Ultimately, if their daughter turned out this way, isn't it still the fault of those two men?

Overall, it's a five-star drama. If I remember correctly, there are a total of five cases, and in each episode, three people die. There are twists and turns everywhere, making it quite enjoyable to watch. However, in the last two episodes, it suddenly turns into a heavily Korean-flavored time-travel romance... The acting and pacing also noticeably deteriorate, which is a bit disappointing. Although the love story between Bai Zhe and Xing Man is somewhat heartbreaking, a better ending would have been preferable over this forced side story...

The screenwriter seems detached from reality, several parts are so implausible and completely illogical. For example, which aunt playing mahjong would gossip about her neighbor with a stranger, and with just one remark, the other three high-ranking players suddenly act dumb? And how about a boss who gets sprayed with paint, but miraculously has her makeup perfectly reapplied and continues wearing dirty clothes? Or the protagonist waking up inside a burlap sack, fully conscious, and instead of calling for help from his brother, who wouldn't misunderstand and accidentally kill him, he struggles without uttering a word for help, sparing me... Is any of this reasonable?? This drama is truly speechless. The screenwriter needs to have more common sense about life!

I stayed up all night to finish the special episodes. Let's talk about the main episodes first. There were quite a few bugs in it. Only the first case was intriguing. Surprisingly, the big boss storyline was quite subtle. The villains turned out to be more vulnerable than expected, all easily defeated with a single blow... The killer served as a consistent thread throughout, but his story was a bit strange. As for the girlfriend of the male lead, oh my, about 80% of the plot bugs revolved around her. It was like having surveillance that made the monolid male lead develop feelings. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised that the two male leads didn't have a romantic relationship, and their scenes together were minimal. The romantic storyline between the double-eyelid male lead and the second female lead had some interesting moments. After finishing the ending, I even watched the special episodes. The special episodes were meant to give closure to the romantic storyline from the main episodes, but it felt a bit forced. There were no other characters involved, only the double-eyelid male lead and the second female lead. Their interactions were quite charming. Some people say their romantic storyline was inexplicably fast, without much buildup in the earlier episodes, but I personally enjoyed it. It had a sense of mutual redemption, with no conspiracies, only eating and dating scenes.

A bit disappointed. Couldn't see the brilliance of solving the cases and deduction. For a suspense drama, please take reference from "White Night" + "Crime Crackdown" + "Medical Examiner Qin Ming"... This script feels somewhat wasted. Perhaps changing the production team could handle the "weight" and "depth" of the script better. I've reached episode 18, and the overall impression is that every character seems lackluster, and the visuals are average. When filming a suspense drama, music, camera work, and visuals are all crucial. Each episode should have a focal point to ignite the viewers' desire to keep watching. But now, having reached episode 18, my overall mood is indifferent. There's no lingering impact, no gripping plot that captivates me, and no desire to analyze any of the cases.

It's alright, I guess. I recommend the fourth case; the ignorant child becomes an accomplice to the devil and ends up killing the only person who wanted to save her. It's such a pity.
I noticed that in this series, most of the people who die are innocent, and although the villains are caught, it's still unsatisfying. Moreover, four out of the five cases involve rape, and it's unfortunate that the initial victims in each case are women. Oh, and I want to give a shoutout to Ma Si Chao for his acting skills. He brings depth and realism to his character, effectively conveying the character's emotions and inner changes through precise body language. Every subtle expression accurately conveys the character's emotions and inner world. The pacing, transitions, and cinematography are all well done.

The drama claims to delve into a heinous crime, but in reality, it lacks depth in analyzing the case and human nature. From the beginning, it seemed like Xia Yonghui should have been one of the culprits, especially considering she only offered Yuan a choice. When it comes to the concept of good and evil, there isn't a clear black-and-white conflict. The revenge plot is also not executed decisively enough. It reminds me of "Dark Glory," but falls short compared to it. I'm not trying to criticize, but as far as current crime investigation dramas go, it's watchable. Of course, Bai Zhe's part is better, but that's solely based on the storyline and doesn't involve the actors.

I really like Liu Yi Tong, but I can't help but criticize the plot. The father forgives the rapist without seeking revenge or reporting the crime, all because the villain has a disabled mother. What kind of scriptwriting is this? What kind of logic is this? Is it just a trivial matter? How can someone forgive so calmly?! I can understand not reporting it to save face, but to go storming in all fierce and demanding justice, only to let it slide in the end, I really can't comprehend it. And they say the father loves his daughter... It doesn't make sense!
There's another scene where the second male lead tells the male protagonist that there's a murder happening, urging him to come and stop it. The male protagonist takes a taxi, and when the taxi breaks down, he relies on his own two legs to run... What era are we in? Still running on foot? By the time you run there, the food is already cold. There are clearly many other options available, but they choose the most foolish one. The scriptwriter is toxic!
Also, why are all the victims female? And why is it that when the victims seek revenge and try to kill the main culprits, the police magically arrive in the nick of time to save the villains? Although the best punishment may be a long prison sentence, every time I see such scenes, it makes me feel uncomfortable all over. It started off as a good drama, but why did they have to compromise on these aspects? The cases themselves were actually quite good.

The development of the cases in the earlier episodes was quite extreme and melodramatic. It was hard to empathize with it. In the end, even the case that was built up relied on the bad guys doing something stupid and self-destructive. What's even more unbearable is the abundance of plot holes. For example, one moment the female police officer has no idea about the identity of the deceased, and the next moment she's talking about the deceased's brother on his way. And when the male lead's car breaks down and he's in a desperate rush to save someone, why would he just get out of the car and run? This drama is great! It's rare to see a normal and traditional detective series where forensic scientists and psychologists don't overshadow the detectives and make them look like fools. The pacing of the plot is also good. There isn't an excessive focus on the tragic storyline of the male lead's deceased girlfriend. It's well done. The storyline consistently revolves around the current cases and then reveals the mastermind behind past events. The cases are all intriguing.

I'll give both stars to Liu Yi Tong for her refreshing performance. However, all the other plotlines are extremely distressing, and it feels like the screenwriter harbors deep malice towards women. Is all the pain women experience only derived from sexual assault? If they're assaulted, they either turn evil, become deranged, or jump off buildings. The entire drama seems to judge women, with the mindset stuck in an outdated society where women revolve around men. Especially in the Women's Virtue Academy segment, it sends shivers down one's spine.

He couldn't exact revenge, yet he showed sympathy and let the rapist go. Who is really pitying his daughter? Seriously, is he trying to play the saint while standing tall? That mute grandmother showed no remorse whatsoever. The teacher knew that the violence was caused by the boy's family, but at least explain to the girl's family that they'll take better care in the future, instead of helping to cover up the lies. Does the girl deserve to be bullied? Then there's the second case, also triggered by rape, but what's the deal with kidnapping the driver's wife? What does she have to do with it? If you want to take revenge, target the evildoers and those who stand by and watch. And in the end, forgiveness for the rapist? The boyfriend even wanted to jump off a building. How can Luo Xiaoman, a young girl, dare to kill two people in the park at night, and both incidents were caught on camera by the same person? And then her father conveniently appears to help her clean up the crime scene. After the crime, her father's mobile steamed bun stall doesn't even change its location, but continues to operate right at the entrance of the park. And the daughter is even more fearless, continuing to play in the park with her own child, as if nothing happened. They know how to bleach the bodies but still insist on cutting off their own hands and dumping them 7 kilometers away, where they end up crashing. Luo Hai is even more incredible; his own daughter was raped, yet he doesn't report it to the police or kill the perpetrator, allowing the criminal to go free and ultimately causing trouble for his own family. I won't be watching the remaining 10+ episodes. One star for the male lead's performance; he's better off doing comedy than this kind of genre.
In the last two episodes, you suddenly threw in a time travel plot? What nonsense is that? The female police officer is completely brainless and serves no purpose in the story.
The plot is full of ups and downs, with one twist after another. Ma Si Chao's acting is really impressive, and even though Liu Yi Tong has fewer scenes, her acting is also very good. Ge Xin Yi is quite beautiful and has great acting skills.
Fortunately, the extra episodes gave them a happy ending, and there are some sweet daily life moments as well. The two of them have a great chemistry and a strong CP vibe.
Solving cases solely through guesswork? The leaps in logic are too strong, isn't it far-fetched? Dongni, now that you're working, you can't rely on acting cute to get by.
The document that suspects sign during the public security phase is the "Letter of Admissibility of Guilt and Acceptance of Punishment" from the procuratorate. Something doesn't seem right here.
I have only one question: why did they show up just as the bad guys were being dealt with? What difference would it make if they arrived a bit later? In any case, they would be caught. The plot is alright, and the disciple is really nice.
Episode 24 is where Bai Zhe dies, and in episode 25 and 26, Xing Man uses a jade pendant to travel back in time and save Bai Zhe. In the end, they...
The topic of the cases is fresh, and there isn't the typical cliché where you can immediately tell who the culprit is in each case. The scene at the kindergarten with Xu Ruoqing is the most memorable.
Ge Xinyi's performance was excellent, and she looked beautiful, especially when she cried. I feel sorry for the beautiful girl. *sobs*
Both cases revolve around the aftermath of sexual assault incidents where the victims refuse to report the crimes. I just don't understand. In this day and age, why promote such values? What is there to be afraid of when it comes to reporting? If they had reported, there wouldn't have been any further consequences.
I'm currently on the ninth episode, and Liu Yi Tong's screen time is too limited. Several cases have made me teary-eyed, and it's evident that the screenwriter is highly skilled. Moreover, all the actors' performances are top-notch.
This drama is truly amazing and a joy to watch.
I just don't understand why most of the victims are women, and why the majority of them are subjected to sexual assault. Can't they write about anything else?
And that segment with the Women's Virtue Academy, they just had to repeatedly show the process of the principal committing the crime. In a single episode of thirty to forty minutes, they repeated it two or three times, causing physical discomfort for viewers.
They knew they were capturing fugitives, but they didn't call for backup or draw their guns. And in the end, the antagonist gets shot but doesn't die, while Bai Zhe gets shot and dies instantly?
It doesn't make sense at all!
A decent suspense web drama, although some details are inexplicably mindless, the flaws don't overshadow its brilliance. There are unexpected twists in several cases, and the depths of human nature behind the murders are worth pondering.
I'm quite a fan of Liu Yi Tong after watching this drama; it's his most outstanding performance! The extra sweet moments, although magical, can heal the sharpness of the ending glass shards!
Who lied to me about it being good? I've already watched up to the eighth episode. The two cases are wrapped up, but your storyline is really poorly done. The values portrayed are strange, the logic is strange, especially in the first case and the flashbacks from the two male leads.
It's like watching from a god's perspective. How dare you play such tricks in a suspense drama?
What the hell? I took a glance at the plot summary on Baidu and there's time travel and rebirth?
Damn it! I beg you, writers of the entertainment industry, please spare the audience. This is outrageous. (Omitting a long string of profanity.)
This is my third revised review. I watched the second-to-last episode, and guess what?
! There's actually a rebirth plotline! Ahhh! What the hell did you write? It's a terrible film! A huge pile of garbage!
To be fair, the case itself doesn't have major flaws, and the storyline manages to capture one's attention. The male lead is someone I really love in this drama. I definitely wouldn't want to be friends with you in there – it's quite surprising!
However, throughout the entire series, the characters lack emotional connection. I'm not talking about romantic love, but rather all kinds of emotions. It's just a constant focus on solving cases, without any emotional bond.
After watching a few episodes, it becomes tedious. There's no dramatic conflict, so I'm not really motivated to continue watching.
The lead actors get one point, the storyline gets one point, and my fondness gets one point. ????
In the first case, Luo Yu Tong is truly pitiful, miserable, and hateful. She was sexually assaulted by a family member but didn't report it because she was too honest and kind-hearted.
It's so unfortunate. However, she gets pregnant as a result and goes on to raise the child, seeking revenge against her father for the assault. I really don't understand why she constantly resents her father for not reporting the incident.
Haha. The most absurd part is that Luo Yu Tong ends up in prison for killing the child conceived from the assault. And guess what? Her father actually loves her and was only concerned about her reputation.
But she never believed in her father, even though he used to love her so much... Whatever, in the end, she commits murder because of a child conceived from assault, and her father covers up the crime...
There are too many confusing aspects... Let's just give it three stars. There are also many other bugs in the drama...
The disciple is the real protagonist. He gets stabbed and is thrown into the sea in a sack, yet he still gets saved by the antagonist. That's the halo effect of the male lead. The male lead is always late or dragging behind, like an afterthought.
Despite the introduction of many characters in the main storyline, the connection between the cases feels forced and there are numerous bugs. The girlfriend of the male lead leaves her watch at the crime scene, but by the time the male lead arrives, the watch magically ends up in the disciple's hands.
Ma Ye gets attacked in the hospital, and both policemen go off to find a doctor. Do the police really have to be portrayed so unprofessionally? There was so much buildup for the revenge of the second male lead, but the outcome was underwhelming.
He would have been better off investing more effort into his ambiguous relationships. As for the side story, what a pile of rubbish!
This group of detectives is too young and inexperienced. They can't control the criminals, especially in the interrogation room where the suspects quickly turn the tables.
One thing that's quite strange is that the male lead's sister gets kidnapped, and that's it? They don't even try to track down the driver and question him?
The male lead's special ability seems to be that I always thought he had a God's-eye view. In the second case, I was getting impatient with the male friend on the rooftop.
He kept blabbering on without taking revenge. If you really want revenge, just push the guy off the roof and be done with it. Instead, he plays with fire and boiling water, and in the end, everyone is fine, they follow the usual legal process, and he doesn't even get to avenge his enemy (although that's not right).
It's just a lot of talking without any substantial progress.
There were so many cars passing by, couldn't he have waved down one of them?
I can't stand these intellectually deficient plotlines that don't seem to know what they want to highlight. When will Chinese suspense dramas give the audience something better to watch?
This drama is great! It's rare to see a normal and traditional detective series where forensic scientists and psychologists don't overshadow the detectives and make them look like fools.
This series relies on the detectives' interviews, gathering information, and years of investigative experience to solve cases. It's very interesting.
The pacing of the plot is also good.
There isn't an excessive focus on the tragic storyline of the male lead's deceased girlfriend. It's well done. The storyline consistently revolves around the current cases and then reveals the mastermind behind past events.
The cases are all intriguing.
Although sometimes the case details feel a bit flawed, I originally wanted to give it a four-star rating. But the last two bonus episodes are very interesting, so I'm adding points.
Haha.
Bai Zhe and Xing Man really have great chemistry, there's a sense of destiny between them. It feels like they're not just in a drama, the extra episodes are a nice touch. I give them three stars as a couple. But, male lead, are you out of your mind?
Why are you running away? My mammary glands are not in good condition, and it happened inexplicably not just once but twice. I don't understand. And the second case, ah! Ah! It's unbelievable. Why did you kneel in the first case?
Isn't that moral blackmail? When your daughter was raped, you did nothing, and now you're doing all these things. Was there no contraception in the second case? It took so long to get to the last step, but there's still one positive aspect: focusing the camera on the perpetrator was a good move, I'll give credit for that.
I came for Liu Yi Tong, and I'll give credit to Liu Yi Tong. I can't even comment on the acting skills of the male lead, it's like a Yang Yang imitation, always tilted at a 45-degree angle, showing off a strong jawline, raising eyebrows and frowning, with no emotions in his eyes.
The plot of this drama is so melodramatic, and solving cases relies solely on coincidences.
In the end, the character of the disciple brother, he's ruthless and doesn't talk much. He practically takes out all the bad guys by himself.
It's hard to judge if that's good or bad, but it's satisfying. Otherwise, the law would only give those bad guys a few years in prison, and they would be able to make a comeback once they're out!
They should focus on solving the cases seriously. Is the male lead's face frozen? Does he even move? It's extremely stiff. Is Xing Man the female lead? The extra episodes at the end seem like jokes.
They should have handed over all the evidence to the police instead of taking matters into their own hands. It's a messy revenge. The pace of solving cases is too slow. The disciple keeps eluding capture throughout the entire drama.
Are there only three police officers in the whole department? They let the culprit escape.
At the beginning, I really liked Liu Yi Tong's portrayal of the antagonist. It had a great impact, and I felt it had more energy compared to their other dramas. I also watched it because of the time-travel aspect, but unfortunately, the time-travel element wasn't outstanding.
However, the earlier parts were quite engaging.
The plot is quite intricate and makes you think while watching the drama. It's not just a straightforward storyline.
It's not bad, but it's not outstanding either. Dramas with veteran actors usually don't disappoint. Overall, it's not very friendly for the faint-hearted, considering there's no censorship and the sound effects can be quite startling.
Liu Yitong has less screen time compared to the second male lead, and Ma Si Chao's acting is decent. Trust me, don't bother watching the extra episodes. They're utterly boring.
The worst detective drama I've ever seen, hands down... I couldn't even get through the second case without feeling nauseous... Are they seriously insane? I've never been so speechless. It's absolutely illogical and disgustingly bad in terms of the storyline.
Being a woman in this drama is just unlucky. Seriously, someone should check the screenwriter. How can they be so good at sympathizing with criminals...?
The first segment is absolutely disgusting. Isn't it the father's fault? Does he really love his daughter? He just forgives like that? And he tries to stop the report?
Then he's moved by himself in the end? What about the police? Are they also on the moral high ground? And that female police officer saying, "It's all for the sake of your reputation." What?
?? I'm just like ??????
After watching 24 episodes of a crime-solving drama, the sudden shift to a romantic plot for 2 episodes was completely out of line. Throughout the series, the cases almost always revolved around women being sexually assaulted.
It's become numb to watch... The only saving grace is the decent acting skills of Bai Zhe and Xing Man. As for the rest, let's just forget about it.
Doesn't the creative team feel uncomfortable that all the victims are women? In every case, there are always several female victims. The subconscious portrayal of women as vulnerable is actually quite frightening, especially when it is conveyed through a medium like television drama, which reaches a much larger audience compared to other art forms.
3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✩ It's been a long time since I watched a suspenseful series, and I binge-watched it at double speed in the past two days!
I couldn't resist the suspense, so I made time to finish it. Some of the cases were quite intense and kept me on edge.
PS: Just taking it as a way to relax. Now, I'll get back to studying seriously.
Female viewers, please refrain from watching this drama. The plot is really frustrating and will make you boil with anger! It all started with a rape incident, and the reputation fell on the daughter.
The daughter wanted to report it to the police, but the father refused.
It's truly exasperating. I'd rather have him kill the rapist and go to jail himself, okay?
Only watched the first six episodes, and I have some criticisms about the plot.
