Episode 25 recap: The military advisor kidnapped Xiao Xuanyi.
The military advisor met with the prince of the Western Liang Kingdom and informed him that everything on his side had been arranged, but they were still short of manpower. He requested the prince to provide some people for him. The prince of the Western Liang Kingdom was surprised that the esteemed Hundred Leaves Pavilion would lack sufficient manpower and that the military advisor had not brought many people with him when he came. The military advisor explained that if he killed Xiao Xuanyi and supported Xiao Qing'an to take the throne, they would join forces with the Western Liang Kingdom to capture the capital together.
The prince of the Western Liang Kingdom agreed to lend some people to the military advisor. The military advisor brought Tang Wanwan along, and Xiao Xuanyi also arrived. However, they were drugged, and both of them passed out. They woke up in a dungeon, and Xiao Xuanyi assured Tang Wanwan not to worry too much. If they didn't return by the next morning, someone would come to rescue them. Tang Wanwan was concerned that they wouldn't hold on until tomorrow.

He asked Xiao Xuanyi if he knew how his father, the king, died, and revealed that he was the one who caused his death. The Empress Dowager's current state, neither human nor ghost, was also because of him.
The military advisor held a knife and prepared to stab Xiao Xuanyi.
