Episode 17 recap: Green Clear slaps Yun Huan.
As Green Clear looked at the severely injured Yan Xun Cang, she remembered the day when she thought she was a green sparrow, throwing herself in harm's way to shield herself from an arrow. It was then that she truly understood what it meant to love without regard for one's own life. She didn't want to investigate the soldiers and horses behind Yan Xun Cang; she only wanted him to help save Mu Wang as a way of repaying him for saving her life. Yan Xun Cang took out some medicine from his body and asked Green Clear to give it to Mu Wang, assuring her that it would help him recover.
Green Sparrow cursed Yun Huan as a complete coward. Their relationship was nothing more than a transaction. This enraged Yun Huan, who immediately removed his clothes and pushed Green Sparrow onto the bed, demanding a transaction. Green Sparrow, with tears streaming down her face as Yun Huan forcefully kissed her, felt a deep pain. Yun Huan, feeling sorry for her, chose to stop, but he refused to let Green Sparrow leave the room. Green Clear understood that Yun Huan was using her as a substitute for Green Sparrow to lure out the enemy. Afterwards, Yun Huan engaged in a relationship with Green Sparrow, which made her feel insulted. In response, she slapped Yun Huan hard and decided to kill Green Sparrow.
Yun Huan warned Green Clear that if anything happened to Green Sparrow, the entire Mu Wang Residence would be buried with him. Helpless, Green Clear left with resentment and fed the medicine to Mu Wang, who quickly regained consciousness. When Green Sparrow saw Green Clear, she pleaded with her to deliver a message. If she had to choose between Yun Huan and Yan Xun Cang, she would choose Yan Xun Cang, who had a small connection with her. Green Clear decided to help.
Yun Huan happened to be listening to the conversation between Green Sparrow and Green Clear outside the room and left with a sense of desolation.
