Episode 18 recap: The Chiyang merchants saved Lu Huaishuang and Yue Qishan.
After Yue Qishan woke up, he found himself lying in a room surrounded by four or five women. He asked them where the woman who was with him had gone. Lu Huaishuang rushed into the room and called out to Yue Qishan, holding his face in his hands and asking if he had hit his head when he jumped off the cliff.
Yue Qishan and Lu Huaishuang, with Baihe as their hostage, arrived at the place where their fellow clansmen were being held captive. Seeing the scene before him, Yue Qishan realized that Baihe's purpose in capturing their clansmen was to produce perfume. Yue Qishan was shocked by Baihe's cruelty and wished to kill her with a single sword. Yue Qishan led his clansmen out of the dungeon, only to be surrounded by a group of archers. He planned to threaten them with Baihe, but Baihe, fearless of life and death, ordered them to shoot arrows. In the end, the leader of the guards came up with a compromise: Yue Qishan and Lu Huaishuang would remain as hostages while the others were allowed to leave.
Baihe imprisoned Yue Qishan and Lu Huaishuang in a large cell. Upon hearing their gratitude, she decided to fulfill their wish. Baihe tied them up and put them on display, giving the onlookers a choice: one of them could be spared. Zhaomei and Second Master mingled in the crowd, intentionally causing chaos and rescuing Yue Qishan and Lu Huaishuang. During their escape, they fell off a cliff to evade the pursuers.
When Yue Qishan woke up again, he found himself lying in a room with four or five women surrounding him. He asked the women where the woman who was with him had gone. Lu Huaishuang hurriedly ran into the room, calling out "Brother Yue Qishan" and holding Yue Qishan's face in his hands, looking left and right, and asking if he missed his sister-in-law. Confused by Lu Huaishuang's words, Yue Qishan was quietly informed by Lu Huaishuang that they were saved by a merchant caravan from Chiyang City. Since Chiyang City valued men, she disguised herself as a man and treated him as a brother.
