Episode 6 recap: Yue Qishan's fame spread throughout the city of Leling.
Due to effective pre-opening promotion, the Unparalleled Music Hall was packed with customers as soon as it opened. In order to attract more patrons, while Yue Qishan played the piano, Lu Huai Shuang had Zhao Mei and Er Ye perform a sword dance. During their performance, Zhao Mei and Er Ye accidentally injured each other. Seeing the audience stunned, Lu Huai Shuang took the lead in applauding, and the audience assumed it was part of the act, so they joined in and applauded.
After the performance, Lu Huai Shuang prepared many portraits of Yue Qishan to give to the women who admired him. The business at the Unparalleled Music Hall was booming. To increase Yue Qishan's popularity, Lu Huai Shuang even hired a storyteller specifically to narrate stories about Yue Qishan. Upon hearing about Yue Qishan's tragic background, Er Ye and Zhao Mei were moved to tears.
Yue Qishan's reputation grew louder. There was a man who impersonated Yue Qishan to deceive others, and coincidentally, Yue Qishan and Lu Huai Shuang encountered him. Lu Huai Shuang asked the imposter to perform a song, and together they exposed his true identity. The owner of a clothing store approached Lu Huai Shuang and offered to dress Yue Qishan in their clothes for his performances, promising him a 30% profit share. Lu Huai Shuang readily agreed, but Yue Qishan disagreed, leading to a disagreement between them.
A wealthy customer paid a large sum of money to invite Yue Qishan to perform, and Lu Huai Shuang asked Er Ye to deliver the message to Yue Qishan. When Yue Qishan refused, Er Ye used force to escort him to the customer's room.
