Episode 4 recap: Su Qing Che was jealous.
Su Qing Che received a rescue message from abroad. There was an earthquake there, and many people were trapped. He hurriedly set off. Just as he was about to leave, Su Qing Che wanted to come and find Song Xing Chen. Unexpectedly, Song Xing Chen happened to come looking for Su Qing Che, and the two missed each other.
Song Xing Chen didn't take his phone with him, so he didn't receive Su Qing Che's call. Lu Qun escorted Su Qing Che to the airport, but Su Qing Che's phone ran out of battery, so he couldn't reply to any messages. He asked Lu Qun to remember to tell his grandfather and Song Xing Chen not to worry.
However, Lu Qun immediately forgot and only informed the grandfather. Song Xing Chen had previously agreed to treat Su Qing Che to a meal to thank him for saving her, but when she sent a message, Su Qing Che never replied. Song Xing Chen could go home and have a meal, just like with her boyfriend. Her mother noticed that she hadn't been eating much these past few days and asked her why. Song Xing Chen explained that she had been busy with activities and had a hard time, so she had been relying on takeout for several days. Finally, she could have something good to eat. Song Xing Chen received a call from Han Xiao Li and had to go back early. Song Xing Chen's mother brought her father to take a look. Although they didn't support her opening such a shop, as members of the Song family, they believed that whatever they did, they should do their best to support Song Xing Chen.
After a few busy days, Su Qing Che finally returned. However, when he opened his phone, he found that Song Xing Chen had blocked him. Su Qing Che asked Lu Qun, and only then did he find out that Lu Qun had forgotten to tell Song Xing Chen about his mission. Su Qing Che was furious and immediately went to find Song Xing Chen.
Meanwhile, Song Xing Chen was packing her things when a shelf fell down. Su Qing Che happened to come over and shielded her from being injured.
Song Xing Chen quickly took Su Qing Che to the hospital, where she learned that he had been injured during the rescue operation and hadn't properly treated his wounds before coming to find her.
Lu Qun also arrived and hid outside, observing Su Qing Che and Song Xing Chen. Qian Cheng also came, curious about the situation, and joined Lu Qun outside. Su Qing Che apologized to Song Xing Chen, explaining that he didn't intentionally keep his actions a secret from her. However, Song Xing Chen was unhappy and felt that they had no future together and it was unnecessary to continue.
Song Xing Chen wanted to leave, but Su Qing Che quickly stopped her. He told her to be careful because he was feeling better. Su Qing Che remembered Lu Qun's advice to show weakness, so he deliberately acted extremely weak. Song Xing Chen had no choice but to stay for the time being.
Song Xing Chen received a phone call from her nephew, Qian Cheng. Su Qing Che noticed that Song Xing Chen had saved Qian Cheng's contact with the nickname "Super Handsome Guy," which made him very jealous. Qian Cheng arrived and pretended to be very friendly with Song Xing Chen. He believed that since Su Qing Che had gotten injured while saving Song Xing Chen, they should take care of the medical expenses.
Song Xing Chen and Qian Cheng left first, and Lu Qun came to check on Su Qing Che. He teased Su Qing Che, saying that he didn't do a good background check before making a move. Su Qing Che complained to Lu Qun, wondering how Song Xing Chen could be interested in such a brat.
Qian Cheng asked Song Xing Chen about her relationship with Su Qing Che and was surprised to learn that they were set up for a blind date. Han Xiao Li and the others were busy with the launch of a new product and thought about asking Qian Cheng for help since he worked in new media design.
Su Qing Che came across a video online featuring a woman dancing, but it was actually promoting fire rescue knowledge. He felt that their nighttime rescue team lacked proper publicity, and many people were unaware of their efforts.
