Qian Cheng was about to attend a class taught by a teacher transferred from an Ivy League university. Feeling disappointed, Song Xing Chen left the school. Tang Rui Ze noticed that she seemed troubled and offered to accompany her home, but she politely declined. Su Qing Che notified Song Xing Chen about the Red Cross vaccine transportation task and, considering her professional qualifications, she accepted the assignment directly.
The next day, as they were about to depart for the mission, Gao Qing Yin informed Su Qing Che that he needed to go home in a few days and asked him to arrange for someone to pick him up. Su Qing Che delegated this task to Lu Qun. Song Xing Chen was unhappy about her Ph.D. application situation and didn't show much favor toward Su Qing Che. Su Qing Che mistakenly thought that she had developed feelings for someone else.
While on the way to the rescue mission, Tang Rui Ze messaged Song Xing Chen. At the same time, a teammate in the same vehicle deliberately used the intercom to gossip about Song Xing Chen's relationship with Su Qing Che.
