Episode 9 recap: Gao Qing Yin returned to the country.
Qian Cheng was surprised when he saw Song Xing Chen's ex-boyfriend, Su Qing Che. Lu Qun commented that Su Qing Che has a broad mindset and shouldn't pay too much attention to past relationships. Song Xing Chen asked Su Qing Che to help zip up her dress and questioned why he couldn't look at her. Su Qing Che said he had something to tell Song Xing Chen.
Su Qing Che noticed that Song Xing Chen had returned and realized that she had a fever, which she hadn't even realized herself. The next day, Su Qing Che woke up and found Song Xing Chen cooking outside.
Although Song Xing Chen wasn't good at cooking, Su Qing Che took over and prepared a meal for her. Su Qing Che thought that in the future, he could cook for Song Xing Chen more often. However, Su Qing Che didn't remember what happened the previous night, and Song Xing Chen kicked him out.
Feeling unwell, Su Qing Che asked Song Xing Chen to let him rest a little longer. However, Song Xing Chen threw his clothes and shoes out, suggesting that he should seek help from Lu Qun, who would surely have a solution.
Su Qing Che talked to Lu Qun about what happened the previous night. He mentioned that he was in a daze and vaguely heard Song Xing Chen say that a girl needs to be explicitly possessed, but he was confused and unsure of his response. Meanwhile, Song Xing Chen was searching for her earrings but couldn't find them anywhere.
Su Qing Che realized that he accidentally took Song Xing Chen's earrings with him. He originally wanted to have a courier deliver them to her, but Lu Qun stopped him, suggesting it was a good opportunity to hand them over in person.
Su Qing Che sent a photo to Song Xing Chen and asked her to have dinner together in the evening, to which she agreed. Han Xiao Li and Song Xing Chen discussed the development of their store, and Song Xing Chen suggested they should find their own positioning and collaborate with some big brands.
Song Xing Chen discovered that Tang Rui Ze was giving a lecture on new media operations and decided to attend. Han Xiao Li reminded Song Xing Chen not to go back to her ex. Song Xing Chen assured her that she had already forgotten about her previous partner.
Tang Rui Ze was giving a lecture here, and Song Xing Chen came to listen. Tang Rui Ze noticed Song Xing Chen and discussed the development of her store with her. Tang Rui Ze wanted to give a gift to Song Xing Chen, but she declined because she felt that accepting it would create an obligation, and she didn't want to receive all the gifts.

They were the ones they had sent from the Time Post Office when they were together, and Tang Rui Ze expressed surprise that he still remembered those. Tang Rui Ze wanted to invite Song Xing Chen for a meal, but she felt that he had already helped her a lot that day, so she insisted on treating him instead.
Song Xing Chen messaged Su Qing Che, informing him that they couldn't have dinner together that day, which made Su Qing Che frustrated. Gao Qing Yin returned to the country and immediately sought out Su Qing Che, causing him a headache.
Gao Qing Yin wanted to invite Su Qing Che out for a meal, and he reluctantly agreed. Su Qing Che and Qing Yin went out for dinner, but unexpectedly ran into Song Xing Chen and Tang Rui Ze.
Su Qing Che felt that Song Xing Chen had told him she was busy, but here she was having dinner with her ex-boyfriend. Gao Qing Yin stated that she had made up her mind since childhood that she would only marry Su Qing Che. With everyone testing each other, Song Xing Chen expressed her desire to step outside for some fresh air, and Su Qing Che quickly followed. Song Xing Chen asked Su Qing Che what was going on and how he ended up with such a sister.
Su Qing Che asked if Song Xing Chen was jealous, to which she replied that he was the one who was jealous. Su Qing Che admitted that he was indeed jealous and didn't want Song Xing Chen to have any relationship with her ex-boyfriend.
