Episode 24 recap: Everyone exerted their efforts to rescue Yao Chen, and Xun'er took over the vital energy for Xiao Yan.
After the battle in the Star Region, it became an undeniable fact that the Soul Hall had risen from the ashes, and the Central Continent once again fell into crisis. Feng Xian summoned the major factions of the Central Continent to discuss jointly mobilizing against the Soul Hall. However, each faction had its own thoughts, leading to disunity and accusations that the Starfall Pavilion was using everyone's strength solely for the purpose of rescuing Yao Chen. Yet, it had been over fifty years since Yao Chen's demise, and it was uncertain whether he was still alive or not, as only members of the Starfall Pavilion claimed so.
The various factions were more concerned with self-preservation and were unwilling to confront the Soul Hall. However, the Starfall Pavilion was determined to stand united and decided to battle the Soul Hall and rescue Yao Chen, even if it meant relying solely on their own strength. Feng Qing'er requested to fight against the Soul Hall, but she was scolded by the Pavilion Master and had her martial arts revoked. Gu Clan's Patriarch summoned Xun'er and handed her the scroll of the Three Profound Changes of Heavenly Flame, revealing to her that Xiao Yan was indeed a descendant of the Xiao Clan, although the Xiao Clan's bloodline had nearly disappeared. He had kept this information from Xun'er to protect Xiao Yan. The Three Profound Changes of Heavenly Flame was a relic of the Xiao Clan and should be returned to Xiao Yan. He sent Xun'er to deliver it personally to Xiao Yan in the Central Continent but instructed her to return promptly since Xun'er, as a clan's future successor, had her own mission to fulfill.

As Muhou had already reached the Dou Zun level, while they were merely at the level of Dou Wang, Xiao Yan was determined to eliminate the Soul Hall and rescue his master.
