She is a mathematical genius, excelling in her studies and known for her exceptional control over scoring. Additionally, she is a standout player at the mahjong table, displaying remarkable skills and strategic thinking.
Shen Yao --- Li Ming De
Shen Yao is a student in Class 2 of the 12th grade at Minglong High School. He is an academic overachiever, consistently ranking first in his class throughout the year.
Yu Yang --- Zhang Chen
Yu Yang is a student in Class 2 of the top-performing class at Minglong High School. He is a top student, consistently ranking first and admired by his peers at school. He enjoys the praises of teachers and the envy of classmates. However, his family life is drastically different from his school success. He is often neglected by his parents, and the birth of his younger brother has put his position within the family in jeopardy. The unfair treatment has made Yu Yang become cold and indifferent towards others, filled with resentment and despair towards himself. He even resorts to self-harm in secluded corners when no one is around.
Bian Xiao Xiao --- Zeng You Zhen
Bian Xiao Xiao is a student from Class 11 of Minglong High School. She is not very diligent in her studies and dreams of becoming a popular internet celebrity. As a left-behind child, her parents entrusted her to her aunt's care. In order to continue living with her family, she has to put on a facade of being obedient and sensible. At school, she tries to please her classmates and exhibits a typical "people-pleasing" personality.
Jiang Qing Lang --- Xu Qi Jie
Jiang Qing Lang is a student from Class 11 of Minglong High School. He is very intelligent and used to be an outstanding student. However, now he focuses almost all of his thoughts on cheating to maintain his grades and on performing singing and dancing to gain attention at school, in order to avoid studying. He hopes to use music as his sanctuary. This is greatly influenced by his family. In what seems like a happy and harmonious family, his mother only cares about his academic performance. From childhood to adolescence, she has planned everything for him without ever asking him what he truly wants.
