Episode 22 recap: Lei Ming once again became the center of public opinion.
Going back to 2008, Lei Ming was still a teacher when he suddenly encountered someone attempting suicide by jumping off a building. To his surprise, it turned out to be his rejected student, Zheng Qian. Later, surveillance footage from the school revealed that Zheng Qian had been with Lei Ming the night before the incident. The school demanded that Lei Ming apologize unilaterally, but he never expected it would lead to the current situation.
Inside his office, Lei Ming saw a gift that Zheng Qian had once given him. Soon, Lei Ming became the alleged murderer. Many years later, this incident resurfaced, and because Lei Ming was still teaching in Class 11, it caused people to look at the students in that class with suspicion.
Now, the five of them couldn't even return to the classroom. Bian Xiaoxiao asked everyone if they believed in Lei Ming, but at this moment, no one dared to speak. After all, Lei Ming had never had a cellphone. With the incident resurfacing after many years, Lei Ming stayed hidden in a hotel and refused to go outside. Instead, they joined forces to investigate the posts attacking Lei Ming, each person taking on a different task, trying to find clues and discover who was behind it all.
Lei Ming stood alone in front of Zheng Qian's grave, finding a brief moment of solace. He always believed that his retribution was not yet over. At this moment, Zheng Qian's mother also arrived. For the past ten years, Lei Ming had been sending her money, and Zheng Qian's mother knew that no one else would help them in the same way as Lei Ming.
The mother continued to sit there, reminiscing about the things Zheng Qian used to do when she was alive, hoping to keep her daughter's memory alive as if she were still by her side. Lei Ming stood up and respectfully bowed to Zheng Qian's mother.
