Episode 23 recap: Wu Jiayue forced Lin Xiaofan.
Wu Jiayue tied Sun Hong and Jiang Yan to the rooftop, and Lin Xiaofan rushed over and asked Wu Jiayue what he wanted to do. Wu Jiayue said they were going to play a game and asked Lin Xiaofan who he wanted to choose. If he chose Sun Hong, then Sun Hong would be given to him, and Jiang Yan would be thrown down. If he chose Jiang Yan, then Jiang Yan would be given to him, and Sun Hong would be thrown down.
Sun Hong asked Jiang Yan to keep him company and chatted with him. Xiao Ru called Lin Xiaofan and said that Sun Hong and Jiang Yan hadn't returned and she was alone at home and very scared. Lin Xiaofan promised to go and accompany her. On the way, he received a call from Wu Jiayue, and Lin Xiaofan asked him to come straight to him. Chen Yuan was in the back seat of Lin Xiaofan's car and started a fight with him.
Lin Xiaofan pushed Chen Yuan down and ran into the nearby unfinished building. Chen Yuan said that his life had just started to improve, but Lin Xiaofan ruined everything, and he had to kill Lin Xiaofan and asked him to come out. When Chen Yuan didn't see him, Lin Xiaofan secretly ran back to the car and drove away. Wu Jiayue tied Sun Hong and Jiang Yan to the rooftop, and Lin Xiaofan rushed over and asked Wu Jiayue what he wanted to do.

Wu Jiayue was very sad, never expecting that he had done so much for Lin Xiaofan, but Lin Xiaofan still only cared about Jiang Yan and the others. Liu Yuanqing caught up with Chen Yuan and wanted to seek revenge from him.
