Episode 23 recap: Gu Jin awakened and became a true god, Yuan Qi.
Gu Jin was covered in injuries, limping and hobbling to see A Yin. A Yin's white hair had turned black when Gu Jin saw her open her eyes. Overjoyed, Gu Jin embraced her, but A Yin's gaze was vacant. After hesitating for a while, she placed her hand on Gu Jin's back.
Gu Jin awakened and became a true god, Yuan Qi.

At that moment, the sound of the Heaven and Earth Clock suddenly rang out. Gu Jin immediately realized that something had happened in the Da Ze Mountain. Yan Shuang and Qing Shan were fleeing, and Hong Yi suddenly caught up from behind, knocking down Qing Shan with the Devastation Wheel in his hand. In order to save Qing Shan, Yan Shuang desperately stood in Hong Yi's way, but she was clearly no match for him. Enduring the pain in his heart, Gu Jin stood up and wielded his sword once again, attacking the Godslayer Flower. Finally, he successfully obtained the medicine catalyst, the Nine Abyss Devil Marrow, from the heart of the Godslayer Flower King. During Gu Jin's time in the Nine Abyss Hell, Bi Bo used her own magic power to sustain A Yin's life. After Gu Jin returned, he used the Nine Abyss Devil Marrow from the heart of the Godslayer Flower King to refine the pill once again, truly completing the Great Returning Pill. After A Yin took the Great Returning Pill, her white hair gradually turned black, and her body quickly recovered.
Seeing A Yin return to normal, Gu Jin embraced her with excitement. At that moment, the sound of the Heaven and Earth Clock suddenly rang out again. Gu Jin remembered that something had happened in the Da Ze Mountain and hurriedly rushed there with A Yin. However, Hua Shu did not believe his excuses and pleaded with Gu Jin to kill Hong Yi and avenge Emperor Lan Feng and the others.
A Yin was both shocked and delighted to see Gu Jin's awakening but was also worried about the prophecy of the Red Silk coming true after Gu Jin became a god. Therefore, she spoke to Gu Jin with caution, just like everyone else. She didn't believe that Hong Yi was an inherently evil person and stepped forward to defend him. She mentioned that Yan Shuang and Qing Shan, who were being pursued by Hong Yi, were seriously injured but not in life-threatening danger. A Yin suggested that they wait for the two to regain consciousness and understand the whole situation before making a decision.
However, Gu Jin did not listen to her at all. He ordered that Hong Yi be temporarily imprisoned in the Locking Demon Tower and subjected to the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder punishment in a few days. If what Hong Yi said was true and he had demonic energy within him, the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder would force it out. If not, Hong Yi would be struck to death by the thunder, which would be a just punishment.

He was immersed in sadness when he suddenly heard A Yin's voice requesting an audience with him. Gu Jin assumed that A Yin had come for the sake of Hong Yi and chose to avoid meeting her.
