Episode 24 recap: Gu Jin and A Yin have broken up.
Hong Yi was arrested as a suspect and was hung in mid-air for punishment. He angrily shouted at the righteous-looking members of the immortal sect in front of him, declaring that he would kill them. A Yin cried and went to plead with Gu Jin, asking him to believe her once again and stating that Hong Yi was definitely not the culprit. However, Gu Jin coldly told her that the name Ah Jin had already vanished along with the Daze Mountain, and he regretted picking up the egg of the Water Condensing Beast in the forbidden area of Daze Mountain.
The fox clan tried to rescue Hong Yi, but they were no match for the immortal sect. The sect members united and swiftly killed them all. After killing the fox clan members, the sect members were still unsatisfied. They took the bodies of the foxes to humiliate Hong Yi. Seeing the bodies of his fellow clan members and being hung in mid-air, Hong Yi angrily shouted that he would kill them.
Gu Jin didn't approve of the actions of the immortal sect members. He told everyone that Hong Yi should bear all the blame alone and not involve others. Qing Lin knew that the fox clan members would only meet their demise if they went to rescue Hong Yi. In order to avoid arousing suspicion from Gu Jin, Qing Lin secretly asked the Peacock King to come to the Demon Lock Tower and draw out the demonic energy from Hong Yi.
After the Peacock King drew out the Demon Venerable, he wanted to gain some benefits from him. However, the Demon Venerable only left a remark: Whether Hong Yi, who no longer has the demonic energy, can survive the punishment of the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder and keep his life depends on his luck. After saying that, the Demon Venerable coldly laughed and drifted away. Lin Mo came to find A Yin with a sound transmission talisman he found in Daze Mountain. Although the talisman was a bit damaged, after inputting spiritual energy, A Yin could still hear Lin Mo's voice from the talisman.
Lin Mo informed A Yin and Gu Jin that Hong Yi was being controlled by the demons. The demons' goal in destroying Daze Mountain was to provoke a war between immortals and demons. Lin Mo urged them to protect themselves and not fall into the demons' schemes. Just as Lin Mo's words ended, the sound transmission talisman disappeared. After the talisman disappeared, A Yin was thinking about how to thwart the demons' conspiracy when she suddenly noticed a trace of demonic energy drifting out of the Demon Lock Tower. She realized that the demonic energy had escaped and became worried that Hong Yi wouldn't be able to withstand the punishment of the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder. She decided to go plead with Gu Jin and ask him to release Hong Yi.
A Yin hurriedly went to see Gu Jin but was stopped by Hong Chou at the door. Hong Chou struck A Yin down with a palm and made it clear that both Gu Jin and the fate of Daze Mountain were all because of her. A Yin knew that without the sound transmission talisman as evidence, no one would believe her. So on the day of Hong Yi's execution, she found an excuse to go to the place where Hong Yi was imprisoned and secretly untied the demon-binding rope from him.
When the guards of the Demon Lock Tower approached, Hong Yi fought them off and wanted to take A Yin with him to escape. However, A Yin insisted on staying behind and told Hong Yi the pre-arranged route. When Hua Shu learned that A Yin had released Hong Yi, she led the others to confront A Yin. A Yin mentioned the sound transmission talisman, but Hua Shu didn't believe her.
Gu Jin initially intended to speak up for A Yin, but Hua Shu presented the promise seal Gu Jin had given her, compelling him to agree to hold A Yin accountable. Gu Jin ordered someone to guard A Yin, and once the matter was investigated and if it was true that she had released Hong Yi, her immortal status would be revoked, and she would be severely punished.
After everyone left, A Yin tearfully pleaded with Gu Jin to believe her once again, emphasizing that Hong Yi was not the culprit. However, Gu Jin coldly told her that the name Ah Jin had already vanished along with Daze Mountain. He regretted picking up the egg of the Water Condensing Beast in the forbidden area of Daze Mountain and advised her to take care of herself. He made it clear that if she used her spiritual power to save others again, he would not save her.
After leaving A Yin, in order to provide an explanation to the Immortal Sect, Gu Jin decided to go alone to the Fox Clan and have Hong Yi explain everything to him. After returning to the Fox Clan, Hong Yi advanced in his healing process and gained ten tails, which brought excitement to the Fox Clan, as they felt more hopeful about the future of their clan.
Hong Yi's sudden return disrupted Qing Lin's original plan. She decided to bring forward the battle between immortals and demons. To achieve this goal, she first managed to kill the Demon King and framed the Immortal Sect for it. The people of the Demon Realm were filled with righteous indignation. Lin Mo, who heard the sound transmission from Xian Shan, managed to temporarily calm Hong Yi down with his persuasion.
As soon as Gu Jin arrived at the Fox Clan, he fell into the trap set by Qing Lin. After she had him under control, Qing Lin revealed the truth to him, confessing that she was the one attached to Hong Yi and responsible for the destruction of Daze Mountain. With Gu Jin trapped, Qing Lin aimed to provoke the war between immortals and demons. Knowing that Hong Yi cared for A Yin, she shifted her focus to A Yin and revealed to Hua Shu that A Yin was the Water Condensing Beast. Hua Shu learned that A Yin's inner core could save Emperor Lan Feng, so she decided to kill A Yin and take her inner core.
