Episode 4 recap: Peacock Princess tricked Gu Jin and took away the Heaven Veiling Umbrella.
Gu Jin took the Fairy Essence from the Little Fire Phoenix to meet his master, Donghua Xianjun. Donghua Xianjun was very happy to see him and told Gu Jin with a smile that with this strand of Fairy Essence, it would be easier to find the other strands through resonance. He speculated that the other Fairy Essences should also be in the Phoenix Tree. He knew of three places with ancient Phoenix Trees and asked Gu Jin and A Yin to go and search for them.
To reward Gu Jin and A Yin, Donghua Xianjun gave them each a Fairy Pill that could enhance their celestial powers. The Peacock Princess discovered that A Yin was Gu Jin's spirit companion and took the opportunity to mock her while Gu Jin was making medicine for her. When Gu Jin returned, the Peacock Princess had already left. Seeing A Yin upset, Gu Jin comforted her, and they continued on their journey. Upon arriving at the Fox Clan, they heard that the male foxes in the clan were very handsome. A Yin wanted to find her ideal husband among the foxes.
