Episode 6 recap: Yan Shuang was put into the female protagonist's Qiankun bag.
During the battle with the Heavenly Demon, as the two were on the verge of defeat, A Yin asked Gu Jin to bring out the Heaven-shielding Umbrella, but Gu Jin didn't produce it. After coming out of the Jiuyuan Sha Prison, A Yin pursued Gu Jin, wanting to know what happened. Seeing Gu Jin equivocating, A Yin guessed that he had lent the Heaven-shielding Umbrella to the Peacock Princess and couldn't help but get angry and complain to him.
While A Yin was getting angry, she accidentally dropped the book she borrowed from Qing Shan on the ground. Gu Jin picked it up and found that the content of the book was about taming one's master. It seemed like he had caught hold of something against A Yin, so he held onto the book and asked A Yin for an explanation. A Yin, feeling guilty, ran away.
After leaving Gu Jin, A Yin accidentally encountered Hong Yi, who appeared weak. She utilized the healing technique she learned from Bi Bo and started treating Hong Yi. Gu Jin, despite feeling frustrated after reading A Yin's book, couldn't help but soften a bit when he thought about A Yin taking care of him in the Jiuyuan Sha Prison. He put the book down and went to find A Yin.
After finding A Yin, Gu Jin saw that she was using a method that consumed her own inner energy to save Hong Yi, and he couldn't help but scold her with concern. The two of them ended up arguing again. Gu Jin realized that this spell was taught by Bi Bo, so he went to confront Bi Bo. Bi Bo, just like A Yin, was a Water Condensing Beast, but he had already reached the Divine level, so this kind of spell couldn't harm him.
Gu Jin and A Yin's argument annoyed Bi Bo, who asked them why they didn't release the master-servant contract. From Bi Bo's explanation, A Yin learned that any Immortal at the Divine level could help them release the contract. While releasing the contract for the two of them, Tonggui discovered that Gu Jin was the Divine Child, Yuan Qi. He guessed that Donghua Xianjun must have done this to protect them. So, he lied to A Yin, claiming that he couldn't release the contract, and when A Yin questioned the reason, Gu Jin pulled him away. Gu Jin explained to the female protagonist why he had lent the Heaven-shielding Umbrella to the Peacock Princess, and A Yin reflected on her own mistakes. She also felt that Gu Jin was not bad and secretly wrote his name in her future husband candidate list.
Next, the place they were heading to was Gui Xu Mountain. In order to successfully obtain the Immortal Essence of the Little Fire Phoenix, Gu Jin decided to go to the Yao Clan's casino first and obtain the emblem of the Chenhui family. Due to their involvement in the Immortal-Demon War, only Princess Chenhui was left in the Shenhui family, guarding Gui Xu Mountain. Gu Jin knew that she had a bad temper, so he came up with this plan to win her favor.
Gu Jin and A Yin arrived at the Yao Clan's casino. Gu Jin used his divine sword as a stake, but it transformed into a small dagger, which led to some mockery from the gatekeeper. As they were contemplating how to enter the casino, Hong Yi suddenly approached them. After leaving Purple Moon Mountain, Hong Yi didn't want to return to the Fox Clan and took the opportunity to disappear when A Yin wasn't paying attention. A Yin hadn't realized that he had been secretly following her all along.
When the gatekeeper saw Hong Yi, he respectfully addressed him as "Jiu Gongzi" (Ninth Young Master). Hong Yi, who disliked Gu Jin, deliberately told the gatekeeper that Gu Jin was his servant. After entering the casino, Gu Jin saw that the prize for the first gambling round was the Chenhui family emblem. He decided to place a bet but ended up losing to the casino's boss, a three-eyed tiger.

After obtaining the emblem, Gu Jin and A Yin were about to go to the Gui Xu Land. However, Hong Yi stubbornly followed behind and refused to leave. Gu Jin used a immobilization charm on him, and Hong Yi pretended to be immobilized. He secretly flew into A Yin's Qiankun bag.
