The fantasy setting is quite unique, and the story is well-rounded. It has mystery and twists. I especially love the comic-style background introductions and historical flashbacks. The supporting characters are well-developed, such as Xiaoning, who used to make mistakes but is now best friends with Xiaochuan, Zhou Yinting, who exists in both the Republican era and the present, Ding Yan Hai, who appears to be a sycophant but is actually meticulous, and Teacher Xi, who cares for his subordinates but has personal shortcomings. Each character has two sides, both positive and negative, and they all have memorable moments. The transitions and interspersed aerial shots are visually appealing.

First half: The second female lead is truly loyal and supportive. When the female protagonist was in trouble, she immediately loaned 100,000. I wish I had a best friend like that. Second half: It turns out it was all a conspiracy. I was shallow in my judgment. The final explanation was quite satisfactory, without any loopholes. The screenwriter's skill is commendable.

Finally, a drama where both the male and female leads fit my aesthetic preferences! Xiao Qi is petite and adorable, while Wang Zi Hao is 189cm tall with long legs, so handsome. From certain angles, he looks like a combination of Hyun Bin and Ji Chang Wook. This dimple couple is really cute! Let's ignore the plot and acting skills and focus on their looks, after all, there hasn't been much to watch recently.

I randomly stumbled upon this drama, originally planning to watch a few episodes just to get a taste of it. But unexpectedly, it turned out to be quite good. I didn't see the trailer before, but it was after watching this drama that I was recommended the trailer. The story has a bit of a Korean drama vibe to it, as well as the editing. However, the name of this drama is a bit discouraging, haha, but the show itself is actually quite enjoyable. I recommend it.

Wow, Wang Zi Hao is so handsome! I'm watching for the male lead. Born in 2002, he's a 192???? (handsome guy). I like him! The plot is somewhat interesting, but it starts to lose its appeal later on. It's not exactly a terrible ending, but it feels like the plot becomes a bit lackluster. Xiao Jun and Xiao Ding also have a close relationship, oh my! ????

The show recommended by aqy, I watched two episodes and I have to ask, can I really continue watching this? Firstly, the height difference between the male and female leads gives off a vibe of a father and daughter. It's exaggerated to the point of being like lt... Also, the female lead is sweet, that's true, but I have to wonder if she has ever taken acting classes. Her facial expressions are all over the place, and her delivery of lines is awkward and forced... And then there's the male lead, he's so oily, especially his styling which just doesn't suit him at all... I'll give one star to the hardworking crew, they've done their best, but I can't give any more than that.

The director, screenwriter, male lead, music, and set design are all fine, but what's up with the female lead? Did she come with sponsorship? Couldn't they find someone with a more normal height? I just can't stand this height difference. It feels like a dwarf and a giant in a romantic relationship.

The production quality of this mini-series is decent, but the duration of the episodes is too long. The female lead's appearance and voice don't quite match, and some of the styling choices highlight her flaws. The male lead can be oily at times. Also, I don't understand why they have to repeat that same setup at the beginning every time... And the storyline doesn't require much thinking, just fast-forwarding through it is enough.

Many young people nowadays do embrace the idea of being single. I have seen quite a few around me. The situation faced by the female protagonist in "Golden Palace" and the underlying theme of women's rights easily strike a chord with contemporary women. Nan Hua is not just a "little househusband" who knows how to do household chores; at his core, he respects women and believes in gender equality. The aggressive CEO forcefully kissing the female lead, which used to be seen as romantic, is now considered sexual harassment. Showing restraint and controlling one's desires actually adds a touch of sophistication.

Take a look, have a look, this is the real deal idol drama! Handsome men and beautiful women, the female lead is clever and playful, adorable and lively. The male lead is gentle and considerate, with extraordinary charm. The plot is captivating like a four-panel comic, and the expressions and special effects throughout the drama are top-notch. It's a complete series in one go, I wish I could give it six stars, it's truly worth the wait.
