Episode 10 recap: Ji Dan Yang asked Bai Hui for help.

Bai Hui saw someone approaching looking for Zhang A Shui and mentioned the secret code given by him. Zhang A Shui suggested that since they hadn't found what they were looking for, they should quickly rescue themselves. However, the person who approached ended up killing Zhang A Shui directly. Bai Hui was terrified and couldn't move until the others turned around.

Electrician Xiao Liu was also called over for questioning. He mentioned receiving a notification about something being broken here and coming to fix it. Someone also saw Secretary Lu here, intending to deliver something to Bai Hui. Luo Shanshan was near the electric meter when the power went out, but Du Fang had called him to turn on the water. Now they found a triangular knife nearby with Zhang A Shui's bloodstains on it, presumably the murder weapon.

There was a cigarette at the scene, the same brand they had found earlier on Dongshan. Pang Hong Mei analyzed the current suspects, but no one had concrete evidence. Hospital doctors and nurses were called over, mentioning a recent case of a vicious murder at the factory hospital. The matter was still under investigation, and they were advised not to spread rumors. Bai Hui was temporarily removed from the medical insurance team.

Director Ge called Bai Hui and assured her that everyone knew she was innocent. However, the killer had not been caught yet, so she shouldn't dwell too much on leaving the medical insurance team. Director Ge mentioned Secretary Lu, and Bai Hui quickly denied receiving anything from him. However, as he was a secretary at the factory, well-known to everyone, she didn't dare offend him.

Director Ge believed that Bai Hui's ambiguous attitude gave Secretary Lu hope and that he had a chance. Director Ge also thought that Bai Hui, who was not young anymore, should consider finding a partner and suggested Ji Dan Yang as a suitable candidate. Bai Hui considered Ji Dan Yang only as a friend.

Although Ji Dan Yang took out fake documents, he didn't immediately hand them over to the task force after receiving the threatening letter. This has also led to the current situation, so now he also needs one-on-one protection. Pang Hong Mei approached Captain Chen and questioned the decision to remove Bai Hui from the medical insurance team. She believed that even if Bai Ming Han had issues, it didn't mean Bai Hui was involved. Captain Chen stated that Bai Hui was currently a suspect and temporarily advised against contact with experts as a precautionary measure. He asked Pang Hong Mei to investigate thoroughly.

Pang Hong Mei approached Bai Hui and inquired about Secretary Lu, only to find out that Secretary Lu was pursuing Bai Hui. Ji Dan Yang wanted to go out, but Pang Hong Mei did not agree. Director Ge handed movie tickets to Ji Dan Yang, explaining that Bai Hui had been feeling down due to the suspicions surrounding her. There would be a movie screening in the auditorium tomorrow, and no one wanted to go with Bai Hui, so the tickets were given to Ji Dan Yang.

Ji Dan Yang agreed to go. He carefully examined the threatening letter and showed it to Bai Hui, pointing out that the words were cut out from magazines or newspapers. The places where one could have extensive exposure to such materials were the post office, bookstore, and library. However, it was unlikely that books in the post office or bookstore were cut, making the library the most likely option. Ji Dan Yang asked Bai Hui to help him identify which book might have been tampered with.

Bai Hui readily agreed. When Bai Hui returned home, he talked to his father about being suspected and claimed that he was in the hospital ward at the time. Bai Hui's father asked if he was frightened and advised him to maintain his innocence. Bai Hui went to the library to investigate the letters, and Luo Shan Shan, the daughter of the librarian, was there to assist.

Xiao Liu is now being transferred, and he is resentful, believing that Secretary Lu was also at the hospital at the time and if anyone should leave, it should be done collectively.
