Episode 14 recap: Ji Dan Yang is injured.
The gecko wanted to kill Ji Dan Yang directly, but Bai Ming Han advised against such rash actions, suggesting they should leave themselves a way out and make it look like an accident, so that nothing could be traced back to them. The gecko knocked Ji Dan Yang unconscious, and Bai Ming Han pushed him off the cliff.
Ding Jie, who was below, didn't hear any response from Ji Dan Yang and hurriedly went up to check. Bai Hui brought medicine for Fu Bo. Fu Bo used to be a police officer and knew two other people. He asked Bai Hui to go back first and offered to deliver the medicine himself. Bai Hui rushed to Dongshan and found Ji Dan Yang had fallen off the cliff.

Pang Hong Mei approached Captain Chen, expressing her restlessness and asking him to assign her some work. Captain Chen explained that their task force needed to ensure Ji Dan Yang's safety 24/7 and asked her to accompany him in the ward. Pang Hong Mei was delighted and quickly went over.
Bai Hui went to work at the hospital, but Director Ge instructed him to take a few days off. People were discussing the incident and believed it was related to Bai Hui. Pang Hong Mei overheard and told them not to jump to conclusions. Bai Hui was outside the yard drying bedsheets when Secretary Lu approached him, but fortunately, Director Ge came and shooed Lu away.
Pang Hong Mei also arrived and asked Bai Hui if he truly hadn't seen anyone. She emphasized that it was crucial to her and Ji Dan Yang. However, Bai Hui maintained that he hadn't seen anyone. Pang Hong Mei hoped that Bai Ming Han could treat Ji Dan Yang, but Bai Ming Han refused, stating that he couldn't cure him.
