Episode 27 recap: Bai Hui met with the contact in person.
Bai Hui received a message and arrived at the tailor shop. They exchanged a secret signal. The people there blindfolded Bai Hui and instructed her to hide under the table, indicating it was a customary procedure. They informed her that Snow Wolf wanted to see her and asked her to wait. A customer almost discovered her presence when they came to collect something. Additionally, someone came to inspect the circuit, so the people quickly hid Bai Hui.
Bai Hui remained bound in that location, and nobody released her. Bai Ming Han went to the hospital and learned that Bai Hui had already left work and gone home, which caused great concern. Bai Hui, while waiting, remembered seeing a pair of scissors on the table and managed to move the chair and retrieve them.
The person from earlier returned and revealed himself as Ghost Owl's father, expressing a desire for Ghost Owl to return to the team. Bai Hui took out the scissors and had already freed herself from the ropes. Holding the scissors to the person, she asserted her identity and emphasized the distinction between herself and Ghost Owl. Bai Hui assured them that she would complete Snow Wolf's mission but asked not to involve her father. Faced with the scissors, the person reluctantly agreed.
Lu Cheng went to Bai Hui's home but found no one there. Bai Ming Han couldn't find Bai Hui anywhere and was relieved when he saw her return. He asked where she had been. Bai Hui claimed she had gone out for a walk with someone else. Bai Ming Han expressed his prior instructions for her to come home after work.
Pang Hong Mei came to find Bai Hui and mentioned hearing that she had left work more than an hour earlier, wondering if something had happened. Bai Hui insisted that nothing was wrong, explaining that Bai Ming Han couldn't find a medication, so he came to the hospital and asked her to find it for him. She had to return home in the meantime.
Bai Ming Han admitted that he tended to prioritize his patients, which was why he became anxious when he couldn't find the medication. He requested that Bai Hui refrain from accessing his medicine cabinet in the future. Bai Hui agreed to his request.
Bai Hui talked to Bai Ming Han about Lu Cheng and how he invited her to watch a movie, but she didn't know what to do.
Pang Hong Mei believed that if Bai Hui didn't like him, she should directly reject him. Bai Hui didn't want to be like Pang Hong Mei and Ji Dan Yang. Pang Hong Mei didn't think there was anything between her and Ji Dan Yang. Bai Hui suggested that Pang Hong Mei ask Captain Chen to see if they knew anything.
Pang Hong Mei wondered why Bai Hui was bringing herself into the conversation. The next day, when Bai Hui woke up, she saw the person from yesterday coming for treatment, claiming that he accidentally fell and twisted his hand. In reality, Bai Hui was the one who caused the injury. Bai Hui told him to be more careful in the future and not get hurt again.
Pang Hong Mei and the others came to ask about Lu Cheng's situation. Bai Hui had already spoken to Lu Cheng earlier and asked him to help by saying they watched a movie together. Lu Cheng didn't understand why, and Bai Hui explained that she didn't have time to explain and hoped Lu Cheng could help her out.
Lu Cheng agreed, and Bai Hui was grateful to him. Lu Cheng told Pang Hong Mei and the others that he watched a movie with Bai Hui and mentioned the location, but he didn't keep the ticket stub. Pang Hong Mei and the others found it strange and didn't think Bai Hui seemed like someone who would be interested in Lu Cheng.
Bai Hui explained to Lu Cheng that her teacher came to see her yesterday, but he was a thief who had run out of money and came to borrow some from her. She didn't want anyone else to know, so she gave him some money and hoped Lu Cheng wouldn't mention it. The director's subordinate arrived in Hong Kong and met the real Li Qiuchen, and they killed the imposter.
Mr. Li's subordinate was extremely surprised and asked why they did it. The imposter claimed that Mr. Li was right there. The subordinate stated that what is fake will never become real.
