Episode 2 recap: Su Man fell into a trap.
Unexpectedly, her husband outright denied everything at this moment and strongly asserted that it wasn't a setup. When he saw his wife about to call the police, he rushed over and tore things apart, while trying to convince the people present not to make a fuss, even using their child as a bargaining chip. Soon, Su Man, still determined, took things and ran to her husband's company alone. She heard some commotion inside but found nothing when she entered. Before leaving, Su Man suddenly noticed that her husband's secretary carried a bag identical to the one she had seen before. That's when she realized her husband's words. Subsequently, Su Man voluntarily gave the secretary a brooch and planned to find another opportunity to put the recording pen back.
Upon returning, Su Man became absent-minded due to her husband's affairs. She was even sprayed by a water tap in front of her, but unexpectedly, Ye Xing quickly rushed over without hesitation to help. He willingly went up to wipe off the water stains. While the two were in a daze, Mrs. Fan suddenly arrived at the scene and started mocking and taunting them. After sitting down, Mrs. Fan expressed her thoughts and asked the young people for help. Surprisingly, Ye Xing, standing by, readily agreed. After leaving, Mrs. Fan spread negative rumors about Su Man to the people around her.
On the way home, Su Man's mother-in-law heard the bad news and angrily rushed back home to physically assault Su Man. Soon after, Su Man's husband returned and continued to threaten his wife. Little did they know that Ye Xing, who was inside the house, was preparing to plot against Su Man once again.
