Episode 22 recap: "Deng Wenliang met his fate."

Yang Kexin felt extremely resentful as she repeatedly witnessed Ye Xing's concern for Su Man. The thought of her husband now angered her, and she considered him utterly useless. She even mentioned to the person in front of her about how she had supported him in the orphanage. However, Ye Xing was no longer swayed by her words and advised her kindly before leaving to let go of her grievances.

Unaware of the situation, Deng Wenliang on the other side intended to sign a contract with Mr. Zhu and discuss investment matters. Unexpectedly, Yang Kexin suddenly called and revealed that Su Man had come to their home to retrieve some documents. Seeing that he was already aware of the situation, Mr. Zhu directly disclosed to those around him that he was being threatened by Su Man and her associates, and therefore, he had no intention to continue considering the investment.

Angry at his sudden change of heart, Deng Wenliang grabbed him by the collar, reminding him that they were on the same boat. However, Mr. Zhu was not interested in such talk and intended to distance himself from Deng Wenliang. To Deng Wenliang's surprise, his wife quickly distanced herself from him as well. Afterward, Su Man and Ye Xing walked together, thinking that everything had come to an end. Su Man intended to let Ye Xing pursue his own desires, but this time, Ye Xing resolutely chose to stay with the person in front of him. The two embraced each other with excitement, reminiscing about their past moments together.

Upon returning, Yang Kexin packed her belongings, preparing to leave. This time, she still hoped that Ye Xing would accompany her, but the person in front of her heartlessly refused. Witnessing this scene, Yang Kexin felt upset and immediately made a call to arrange a meeting with Su Man.
