Qi Lian learned that Jiang Xiao Yuan's attitude had changed greatly upon knowing that she was a time traveler.Jiang Xiao Yuan took the initiative to contact the person who posted and revealed herself as a time traveler, expressing her desire to chat with them. They agreed to meet at a coffee shop in the city square, with the person carrying a long-handled black umbrella.

Jiang Xiao Yuan, filled with anticipation, boarded the bus with only twenty-four yuan in her possession. After paying the fare, she was left with twenty-two yuan. When she arrived at the city square coffee shop, she didn't find the person carrying the long-handled black umbrella. Suddenly, it started raining heavily, and Jiang Xiao Yuan, feeling isolated, misunderstood, and in despair, walked in the rain, cold and hungry. Despite the circumstances, she didn't stop. In a daze, she saw the head of that world again, inviting her for a drink.

Jiang Xiao Yuan stepped onto the road, disregarding the cars rushing towards her, and stood in the middle of the road. Qi Lian was supposed to meet Jiang Xiao Yuan but received a call from Chen Fang Zhou at the last moment, informing him that Jiang Xiao Yuan was missing. He hurriedly went to look for her, causing a delay. Later, the shopkeeper used the phone Jiang Xiao Yuan left behind to contact Qi Lian. That's when Qi Lian discovered that Jiang Xiao Yuan had the same phone as Xu Jing Yang. He immediately held an umbrella and searched for Jiang Xiao Yuan in the rain, pulling her back at a critical moment.

Unable to hold back her emotions, Jiang Xiao Yuan embraced Qi Lian and wept, expressing that she could never go back. Qi Lian brought Jiang Xiao Yuan to the coordinates where she arrived in this world and learned that the bloodstain left behind was indeed Jiang Xiao Yuan's. He discovered that Xu Jing Yang was still living a peaceful life in the other world. Qi Lian eagerly questioned Jiang Xiao Yuan about how she managed to travel here. In his eyes, Jiang Xiao Yuan's life was not as valuable as Xu Jing Yang's or the safe return of the Jiang Xiao Yuan from this world.

Jiang Xiao Yuan was taken aback by how little her life meant to Qi Lian.
