Episode 10 recap: Chu Qi was captured.
In his dream, the village chief heard someone calling him "father" and saying that they were in pain. They asked the village chief why he wanted to kill them. The village chief woke up and saw Jia Qi outside. He became extremely agitated, took out a gun, and tried to kill Jia Qi. Chu Qi and the others heard the commotion and quickly rushed over to stop the village chief, urging him to calm down.
However, the village chief didn't listen at all and fired several shots. To everyone's surprise, it was Jia Ru who fell to the ground. The village chief suddenly regained his senses and burst into tears, holding Jia Ru in his arms.
