Episode 15 recap: Wu Xu saved Chu Qi.
The boss said that they wanted cash payment, so someone else bought Chu Qi. Chu Qi was taken to the backstage, and Wu Xu arrived, but there were people guarding the entrance, saying that no one was allowed in the backstage. The customer who bought Chu Qi earlier came to use the restroom, and Wu Xu saw him. He went over and beat him up, saying that his boss was from the Shen family and he couldn't afford to offend them.
The customer was surprised to hear that he was dealing with the Shen family and quickly agreed with whatever Wu Xu said. Gu Yu Sheng saw Wu Xu return and became very anxious, saying that their plan had failed. Wu Xu said the plan hadn't failed, and sure enough, their boss upstairs said that Chu Qi had been sold to them. Gu Yu Sheng was also happy to hear this.
Gu Yu Sheng and Wu Xu found Chu Qi and she was delighted to see them. She hugged Wu Xu tightly. The mayor and his group also arrived, saying that they knew it was them causing trouble. Gu Yu Sheng stopped them and asked Wu Xu to take Chu Qi and leave first.
Jue Ming secretly took Gu Yu Sheng out first, thinking that only Shen Dashuai could resolve everything now. They were chased by pursuers, and Gu Yu Sheng and Chu Qi jumped into the river, luckily they were unharmed. Chu Qi noticed that Wu Xu was unconscious and became very worried. She quickly performed CPR on him.
Wu Xu woke up, and Chu Qi was also very happy.
