Episode 21 recap: Hu family enters the scene.
Gu Fei Yan attended the banquet at the Song family's residence. When Feng Shi Hao saw Gu Fei Yan, he immediately ran away. Feng Jianye remained and apologized to Gu Fei Yan on behalf of Feng Shi Hao, hoping that she would forgive him. Madam Hu wanted to improve the relationship between the Hu family and the Kaishan Society, so she sent Xili and Zhang Ying to get close to them. She also had Hu Hailong go around and increase the Hu family's visibility.
When Gu Zong Zhang Ying arrived, she left immediately. Feng Jianye wanted to leave but was stopped by Zhang Ying, who referred to him as a father-in-law. Feng Jianye disagreed with Xili's relationship with Feng Shi Hao. Ignoring Xili's dignity, Zhang Ying openly declared in front of everyone that Xili and Feng Shi Hao had already slept together, holding the Feng family responsible for Xili's actions. Feng Jianye was furious and wanted to hold Feng Shi Hao accountable, while Xili blamed her mother for speaking that way.
Hu Hailong learned that Song Hang's birthday banquet was divided into four halls: Tian (Heaven), Di (Earth), Xuan (Mystery), and Huang (Yellow). The best one was the Tian private room. Madam Hu wanted to use Xili's relationship with the Feng family to secure the Tian private room. Just then, Qi Ye informed everyone that they would be going to the Tian private room later, and everyone assumed it was thanks to Feng Shi Hao's influence.
While Wei Jian Hao was using the restroom, he discovered that there was no toilet paper left. He called for someone outside to bring him some, but Feng Shi Hao heard Wei Jian Hao's voice and used a mop to block the door, preventing him from coming out.
Wei Jian Hao struggled for a while before finally managing to leave the restroom. He coincidentally encountered the Hu family members who were heading to the Tian private room. Upon learning that Wei Jian Hao was Xili's ex-boyfriend, Madam Hu specifically warned Xili not to associate with someone like Wei Jian Hao. Zhang Ying even instructed the staff to chase Wei Jian Hao away.
When Wei Jian Hao left, he encountered Song Huai Xi, who was looking for him. Song Huai Xi asked him to change clothes and promised to show him an interesting show.
